    om laxmi mata kabita ur aam ka achar is so different from our achar made at home because the raw mango i mixed it with salt for one night and in the morning i put it in the sun for one day and all ur recipe is the s ame and i mixed it with mustard oil and we can keep it for 2 or 3 years

    I was looking for home made mango pickle since long. Thank you for sharing. I have a query. You mentioned that we can have this achar soon after making. But since you put haldi, so wont we get smell of that ? or is it better as you said we can have after 2-3days after keeping in the sun.

      Wash magoes and dry each one using a cloth....and then cut into fine pieces.....chilli ..garlic cut into small pieces......take a pan and add need oil it become hot add mustard curryleaf garlic into it....put into low flame and add chilli powder turmeric powder asafodea needed....mix it well then add needed salt then mix well and off the fire add the cut pieces it it and mix it well ....keep in a dry pot for longlife

    Hello Miss Kabita. I really love your cooking channel. All your recipes are amazing. I love making achaar and I was wondering if you could help me out with a problem.
    1. Achars are best stored in normal temperature? Fridge or under the sun?
    2. Sometimes I notice some of my achaars get molds on them? Why is that? What can I do about it?
    3. Should I sun bathe my achaars once a week?

      1.Once the achaar preparation is done...keep it under the sunlight for a week, then store it at room temperature.
      2.Always use dry spoon while open the jar...any wet thing create fungus on achar.
      3.you may but not necessary.

    During marination mango slices left a lot of water out of them. which do'nt dry after keeping few hours in sunlight. Please advise what to do of that water, it is to be thrown away or to be dried along with mango slices.

    hi i want to know if it absolutely necessary to dry the mango or if I can use it raw without drying? if it must be dried, is there another way to dry the mango other than in the sun? for example in the oven on very low temperature! because I am in Northern Europe and autumn already started and there is no sun anymore here!

      It will work even without drying it in sunlight but it will not last for very long, even without drying it in sun it will last for 20-30 days if refrigerated properly :)
