Freddie was a legit good guy and he'd probably be angrier at you guys comments than this guy's performance.
He said they could do whatever they wanted with his music after he was gone as long as it wasn't boring. This,,,, definitely isn't boring.
Freddie would be happy that people are still loving his music even if they do butcher it, because he never wanted his music to become boring. And by giving us something to laugh at this makes it not boring.
And if someone hasn’t heard the song before they’d certainly look it up.
Freddie was such a gentle human, the world needs more Mercury.
i love this. Simon asks him why he auditioned and he replies, "because I like competition." But he doesn't have one clue what that hell he's going to sing. it's like he just plucks it outta the air. in his head he claims he sounds like the lead singer in queen. Simon pipes in, "Freddy Mercury?" Then the guy goes, "Yes, sir." And then he asks him what's he going to sing and it all goes down hill from there.

What I don't understand is how those contestants keep singing despite seeing the judges laughing right in front of them. I mean, if I were auditioning and the judges started laughing out loud the way they did here, I would automatically stop and ask them _"is it really that bad?"_ instead of continuing singing as if I could not notice from their reaction that I am looking foolish to them.

Everyone laughs at this clip but he actually landed a solid gig is Adam Lambert’s back up on nights during Queen’s most recent tour when Adam was sick or he couldn’t cut it, Word has it that a fight broke out between Lambert and him when fans started calling for
RED. RED. RED!!! during and after shows and even during songs midway through the tour.. to the point that Lambert brought in the LGBTQueenloversforlife into the mix and they chased Thoen out of the band, claiming that he was making the crowd homophobic when he stole the spotlight gig after gig. Plus they said Queens lead vocalists should always be exclusively gay. Probably jealousy...they didn’t even bother to ask how Steve Thoen hit all those high notes so well. He might be the gayest of em all.. this threatening to the bands legacy when all’s said and done.
