3D camera movement is what got me to learn blender, and I'm loving how much it has opened up my abilities, using both mediums in tandem. I am now comfortable with eyeballing perspective with objects in motion
Yes, I'm seing the same thing with my experiments. I actually had given up animation because I thought it was impossible to do the kind of animation I wanted to do with the limited free time I had and having to learn to draw and all those different perspectives untill Blender released Grease Pencil and I decided to give it a try. And I am socked by the speed I am improving, specially because I'm able to manipulate 3D reference. I thought it would be a cheat it turned out to be an amazing way to learn.
3D camera movment is deifinitely one of the animation skills I'm practicing and accomplishing so I can be comfortable with taking tough shots like this. I appreciate you sharing your process Howard.
3d camera movement is one of the biggest things i struggle with. This definitely helped :)
I wish there was a channel where you exhibit your animations cause I personally am entertained
Thank you very much
I have a playlist with some of my public animations here: czcams.com/play/PLwEV9MxoDbJwpBNdfeMa21xngpINb7wSs.html
This is insanely good! You never miss.
I really like how you explain/teach the process. You have inspired me to begin my own animation journey.
good luck

Wait... You me...
@@Nation_of_Imagination yes I am you, and you are me
@@SKORPIO_WITH_A_K_3344 I know we are the same person but,...why... Are you here?
@@Nation_of_Imagination because I'm the tutorial account and you are the miscellaneous one...
@@SKORPIO_WITH_A_K_3344 oh.
Well thank you for recommendation this channel is really useful for "our" Art?
Would want to be able to animate like that
Yessssssiiiirrrrr
Yeah I shall draw like you
actually, howard! I don't know if you've covered it yet, but - how do you decide the best lens width for your shots? This always seems to trouble me.
It's a creative decision what lens to emulate. I talk a lot about focal length choices in the course.
Wide angle - is great for kinetic z depth movement involving the camera. Curved lines - when pushed can feel wild and daring. Viewer feels extremely close to the subject
Telephoto - good for focussed shots. Good for characters . Straight lines, calm "designer" feel. The viewer feels distant from the subject.
But i'm just scratching the surface there.
I cover it here too: czcams.com/video/UA-5Gf_tc1Y/video.html
@@HowardWimshurst you're brilliant, thanks a lot. I'll be investing in some of those courses
This topic is very helpful..bruh
Can you do a breakdown of a scene from Love Death Robots Jibaro
Which application do you use for animation
What the program are you use
is there a sale upcoming for the whole tutorial series ? 😅
it's the same price all year round
12:34 gives all its purpose to the video
Please make a video on braking down the kimetsu no yaiba season 2 episode 17. It will blow your mind and will be a good video in terms of revenues cuz demon slayer is so popular
Love your work keep it up
If i may ask, where do you get these reference from?
i procrastinate and surf the internet, especially on youtube. When i find something good i save it to a playlist so that i can find it later
