Living in Arizona sounds rough, but I visited the state for fun in July this year and had a great time. I got to see the beautiful Coconino forest, the Grand Canyon, and the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden. From a tourist perspective it was, (a slightly hellish) heaven on earth

I know that this video is 7 years old but a humid heat is actually worser feeling and worse over all and my fellow European and mid American Mid-Westerneres will back me up because of the humidity (or in other words because of how much moisture is in the air) you can't sweat that well because the air can't accept any more moisture resulting in moisture on the skin which can very likely result in quicker heatstroke and it feeling hotter and us being hotter also if you have skin probems like I do it can set them off and make the skin probems as bad as a Califonian forest fire when it's like 100°C (212°F) during a dry heat so it can actually more dangerous in Europe and the American Mid-West compared to the American South the only upside is that humid air is less likely to cause things like trees to spontaneously combust and don't get me started on winter where it's dry in Europe and the American Mid-West which drys your throat and lips but other than that for us who live and were born in northern England and Scotland you just need a hoddie (but with a t-shirt or shirt underneath the hoddie) for weather around 10°C to freezing (0°C) (50°F to freezing (32°F)) if your only outside for like 2 hours max and you just need a thin coat over a hoddie if you're out between around 10°C to freezing (0°C) (50°F to freezing (32°F)) if you're out for more than hours or if it's below freezing

As somebody who lived both in Arizona & Texas, I can say with certainty that if you’re anything like me, your video would have been 10x longer with cons. And yes a dry heat is muuuuuuch better. For me the only con of a dry heat is dry lips. But it’s still better.
that would be true if the temperatures were actually the same, but when its above 110 constant sunshine for long stretches of time it is indeed the worst feeling, iv been to hot and humid places and felt that, but its not as bad as AZ heat, also would like to add, its a dry heat for the first half of the summer, the 2nd half of the summer is monsoon season.... so AZ does indeed get worse than anywhere else in the country, a thunderstorm may cool things down temporarily, but midday when the storms are still developing and the sun is still out, its over 110 and insanely humid, its horrible, people forget about that.... I went to a concert in Phoenix in the middle of July and lemme tell you something, that was the worst heat iv ever experienced in my life, nothing else compares....

I lived in Tucson, and I liked it a lot. Yes, there were lost of downsides, like having to drink three gallons of water a day, and putting in lotion every thirty seconds. However, the people there were cool, unlike the weather. Also, the mountains were nice, and made the sunsets look AMAZING.
Noodle's Gamebox Agreed Arizona peeps are 10x nicer than the jerks up here next to St. Louis. I actually visited New Mexico and Arizona and the mountains are freaking awesome and beautiful. Same about the Grand Canyon.

In January 2019, I was waiting for the school bus... in 2 degree weather. Fahrenheit. And then in that same year, I was at the beach and it was 97 degrees, but the humidity made it feel like 103.

Yet this is another video I enjoy because I freaking LOVE Arizona.
I know that this video is 7 years old but a humid heat is actually worser feeling and worse over all and my fellow European and mid American Mid-Westerneres will back me up because of the humidity (or in other words because of how much moisture is in the air) you can't sweat that well because the air can't accept any more moisture resulting in moisture on the skin which can very likely result in quicker heatstroke and it feeling hotter and us being hotter also if you have skin probems like I do it can set them off and make the skin probems as bad as a Califonian forest fire when it's like 100°C (212°F) during a dry heat so it can actually more dangerous in Europe and the American Mid-West compared to the American South the only upside is that humid air is less likely to cause things like trees to spontaneously combust and don't get me started on winter where it's dry in Europe and the American Mid-West which drys your throat and lips but other than that for us who live and were born in northern England and Scotland you just need a hoddie (but with a t-shirt or shirt underneath the hoddie) for weather around 10°C to freezing (0°C) (50°F to freezing (32°F)) if your only outside for like 2 hours max and you just need a thin coat over a hoddie if you're out between around 10°C to freezing (0°C) (50°F to freezing (32°F)) if you're out for more than hours or if it's below freezing

that would be true if the temperatures were actually the same, but when its above 110 constant sunshine for long stretches of time it is indeed the worst feeling, iv been to hot and humid places and felt that, but its not as bad as AZ heat, also would like to add, its a dry heat for the first half of the summer, the 2nd half of the summer is monsoon season.... so AZ does indeed get worse than anywhere else in the country, a thunderstorm may cool things down temporarily, but midday when the storms are still developing and the sun is still out, its over 110 and insanely humid, its horrible, people forget about that.... I went to a concert in Phoenix in the middle of July and lemme tell you something, that was the worst heat iv ever experienced in my life, nothing else compares....

I lived in Tucson, and I liked it a lot. Yes, there were lost of downsides, like having to drink three gallons of water a day, and putting in lotion every thirty seconds. However, the people there were cool, unlike the weather. Also, the mountains were nice, and made the sunsets look AMAZING.
Noodle's Gamebox Agreed Arizona peeps are 10x nicer than the jerks up here next to St. Louis. I actually visited New Mexico and Arizona and the mountains are freaking awesome and beautiful. Same about the Grand Canyon.
