something very special {4 months with blue}

today marks 4 months with blue! 4 months is a short time however I feel that blue and I have come a long way in such little time! When he came to me he didn't know me, everything was new and because he knew nothing but his previous home as a safe place he was very nervous, grooming him was tricky at times as he didn't really trust me! he wasn't confident enough to play and run with me, he had separation anxiety when i took him away from horses. in those 4 months, Blue has become so much more confident, grooming is no issue, he doesn't mind being left, he loves to have a play and is such a cuddly soul! I have always felt a connection with Blue from the moment I sat on him, I mean, not many horses would offer to lay down in the field with you?! ( especially not those with a bad past). I wouldn't change Blue for the world, i'm so grateful for him and really look forward to the future!
