I lost my horse in a freak accident…I can relate to everything you said…he took me from poles on the ground to 3’. The worst part is I didn’t get to say goodbye because when it happened we were on vacation. Don’t take things for granted. I never appreciated the time we had together until it was gone. While my heart belongs now to another horse. It like a thumbtack in a wall. You can patch it and take it out but the scar will always be there R.I.P Gully 2007-2021 It was April 5th at 11:49 am He came 7th out of all the ponies at Pony Finals. This makes my heart break as I know how you feel as I've riden a horse named Chocolate milk but then I could not ride her as she has had a foal but this is the most heart breaking thing when someone passes away at least he is watching you from the clouds ....

My horse came up lame today and if he tore a tendon I’m just going to put him down I don’t want him to go though all that pain to have it happen again he is my best friend and I home it’s not to bad he is only ten

youtube seems to be out to make me cry. Losing a friend is hard, weather that friend is human or has four legs and fur. I may not have had a horse, but I had a cat, a cat who was an asshole no matter what. Meowed at everyone he saw, but he was mine. He was the first pet I truly owned and loved. When he first became mine he was in bad shape, wounds all over his body from stress licking, sick from eating the wrong food, but most of all he had a fear of men, which I don't blame him for having cause his ex-owner was a male. However when it was just me and him he was the sweetest cuddle demanding boy you would ever know. However it was a journey to get him from a sickly looking boy to a healthy boy. It wasn't easy, the main thing being my parents wanting to send him to the shelter cause they didn't wanna deal with a sick cat. However 7 year old me at the time was addicted to watching animal cop shows on animal planet and knew that his fear wouldn't make him adoptable. So I did what any child my age would do, I fought, I screamed, I cried at my parents telling them that they weren't gonna send my cat to the shelter. In the end I won, I got to keep Snare, my cat's name. Time went on, his wounds healed with the right kind of food, we found out he had food allergies, his stress licking had stopped, but most all his fear of men left cause he knew that he was now safe. However my family still remember how he was, even I thought I would wake up and he would have passed but no cause I saw something that my family didn't. I saw the fight in his green eyes saying that he wasn't gonna give up. He got better and became my prince of cuteness. My mom even told me that she didn't think that Snare would have made it as long as he had if it hadn't been for me. In other words, I saved him. 12/23/2020 at night, the day before Christmas I cried from a broken heart. Snare lived to be 14 years old. I even saw me being scared for life at seeing how bad Snare was in when he first came home, I saw it as a price I had payed to give him the best 12 years me and him had together. He was always there when I needed him and I was always there when he wanted to cuddle. But I know he's ok, I know that he's thinking of me and misses me as much I miss him. Family has told me that I did an amazing job with taking him from being a sick cat to the cat he was. Even now I'm trying to hold back as I'm typing this out. Wherever he is I know he's waiting for me and that he knows that one day I'll see him again.

I lost one of my favorite horses this weekend, he got colic on friday and they had to put him to sleep. They had no choice… Rip Dusty.

3 years ago today she died, so I'm back here 3 years after that day 14th June RIP my Possum. I thought the pain would never stop, but it did stop. She now forever lives in my computer password

Perfect ...I lost my Black Babson Arabian Dream Horse, Forio when she died of a suspected Neurological Episode. She was only 5. But I dreamed her for years before I actually "found" her. Her loss was a horrific experience and I think of her still...it's been 25 years now and I know She will always be a part of me...
