Please make videos on the UPS (untreatable supply units) that are being used in the Datacenter industry and their types. Static, hybrid rotary, and diesel-rotary, as well as (VFD, Vi, and VFI); I love your videos. They have just simplified my life, I appreciate you work
The real reason is so you can listen to music in the car without it running while your wife is shopping.
great stuff, great knowledge!
Great video Thank you
ty ~ loved the video🐼🦊🐼🦊🐼
Thanks 👍

Would have been a great plus if you talk about the chemical reaction in the battery.
See our how car battery works video
Please upload hydropneumatic cylinder working related videos
Without the battery, the starter won't turn the engine. If the vehicle has a manual transmission, you can push start the vehicle and get the engine to run. Takes some effort, but it does work.
Not realy, because of open circuit. There should be any battery, even empty one, to keep it closed, alternator can easily maintain ignition and some basics
With todays computer systems you need a charged battery. If not jumping it and bump starting the engine can damage it.
You can run a auto with out a battery or an alternator.
In the old times there were 6 volt systems. Now days everything is a 12 volt system. You also had a Generator it made DC power or Direct Current power at 12 volts. Now days from the 1960's on you have an Alternator it makes AC or Alternating Current power. So you have to change it over to DC to charge the Battery. Some of this is in other videos.
He does a good job of putting out videos that work together to explain things that are coming up.
@@bert1450 yep that is why you have to big Battery for under 30mph and short range.
Yup, two of my cars are automatic and two are standard transmission. I can bump start the old Triumph if needed. I’ve never had a need to do it on the other modern Ford.
That's why batteries have a cranking rate CCA!
Shocking!!!
So that you can install a 2000 watt stereo with at least 1200-1500 watts for the bass and the rest of it for your mids and highs. 👍
The crankshaft is only there for electricity?
Plz make Vedioes on car ECU, how read and Write Car ECU .thanks
Does the "starter" needs constant current? Even the voltage is changing?
Voltage and current of a motor under load will increase. The starter at the beginning isn't engaged and takes a fairly small voltage to start spinning up until it engages. Then the little motor of the starter has to turn the entire cam shaft, increasing power demand. It disengages and after that the starter is turned off. If it randomly tried turning on while the engine is running you'd likely hear the gears grind from it engaging at a slower rate than the engine is spinning while operating. The engagement mechanism is using centrifugal force against a spring in most cases to do this thus, it's only needed to start and after that the engine's alternator provides the electricity.
❤❤
Shocking
👍
Because the old front end crank could get you killed. lol
Think about your backup generator. You have to pull a cord to start it like you would lawn mower. That's the main reason convenience
@@Chungustav Look up Poe's law, and understand you have triggered it.
Why do EVs also use the lead acid batteries, even with the Lithium battery bank?
I'm still confused 😕
Because people aren't all than keen on having a giant hand crank sticking out of their front bumper.
That's cool.!! Now could you explain to me why my TV remote needs batteries? As a man iv no idea.!
Great video but ps come up with better titles. This title is almost like saying, 'Why do cars need tires'?
That's only because you know why a car needs a battery. Once upon a time you had no idea what a battery even was, you had no idea what a car was or how to even spell "car". We help and encourage technical knowledge at all levels, basics to pro.
Even EV needs 12v auxiliary battery.
Battery is just to start the car and run accessories. Once started it will stay running without a battery if you don't use anything like the radio.
the sameagain?
Busy building a work shop. See community post
"because it needs a spark to start the engine." or we can give cars lawn mower pull chains, but i dont think anyone would like that
And it takes incredible strength to pull chain due to friction and mass.
Go with the old days and crank it instead.
You can use large capacitors to start a car.
Why do cars need a motor that runs at gasoline guess what they don't they have one that runs on water will they ever put it out there of course not I got to keep the investors happy
... for the same reason your phone does.
T0 F'n WORK!!!
So all gas cars are already half electric run cars 😂
cars are battery based. wrong.. electricity uses sparks to run by itself
Video should be four seconds long.
Lol next video. "Why do cars need wheels?"
Haha it’s crazy because I click it 😮
Uh, well because they won't start without one? Just a guess.
You can start a car easily without one by bump starting them. Bump starting is when you push at car or roll the car down a hill. You engage first gear but keep your foot on the clutch. When you get to speed you release the clutch and the forward momentum combined with being in gear will turn the engine over
Have you seen old cars with a crank start in the front?
Not lately. But if you have one, then hey, keep on working your crank shaft.
Why do bathrooms need toilets?
There were cars without batteries at the time. In the past, engines are startes with actual hand cranking, though will be more difficult in modern car engines due to interconnected friction and mass.
