    22 miles is insane. My first peddle assit bike 250w could only do 10 miles.

    Hi looking at buying one of these , but the new v2 , is it easy to turn off the speed hack if got stopped by police and they wanted to see if could only do 15 mph

    • @bubblesway
      @bubblesway  Před rokem +1

      As long as u always pedal around police no reason for them to stop u the v2 is more water proof

    Thanks for sharing all those info about this bike, I really appreciate. 👍 I consider buying one but I'm a older guy and want to replace the handlebars for at classic old man style, but not sure if cables are long enough to raise another 10 cm? What are your opinion? 🤔

    • @MrMartybabe
      @MrMartybabe Před 3 lety +3

      I have raised the bars approximately 3” with no ill effect but I do think any higher would put undue stress on the cables. Hard left lock at 3” above standard stretches the cables to just about maximum 👍

    Hi is it possible to have the PAS set to 2 for example but when i decide to use the throttle i get the full power of the motor as my throttle is dependent on the setting of the PAS. ie if its set at 2 then i get limited power from the throttle but if i set the PAS to 5 i get more power from the throttle which is irritating because if im going up a gradient and need a little more power than what the PAS is providing and press the throttle it stays at the same power unless i reach over and turn up the PAS?

    • @bubblesway
      @bubblesway  Před 3 lety +1

      maxta mcpherson for full throttle speed pass 5 if lower pass the throttle will not be as fast only way is to keep changing pass I’m trying to find something like u said pass 2 not full throttle to change it I did a video on full settings mite help

    Great series of videos on this bike on your channel. I'm contemplating getting this " or a similar " bike.
    I imagine that you ran this test with the standard 48v 10amh battery that came with it. Is it possible to swap the standard battery that came with the bike for a 14 or 17amh battery, and would this increase the range.
    Thank you .

    • @bubblesway
      @bubblesway  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes it would

      @@bubblesway . Thank you ever so much for your reply. So do you have any idea on what sort of range I could obtain with an 17 ah battery. I think I saw 48v , 17 ah battery for same bikes, ( I think a number of other bikes use the same type of batteries.

  • @Erks89
    @Erks89 Před 3 lety +1

    Can you upgrade the batter to 14ah? If possible do you have to configure anything?

    • @bubblesway
      @bubblesway  Před 3 lety +1

      Erkan you can upgrade the battery yes u don’t need to change anything if u upgrade to 14ah battery

    • @bubblesway

      i use it as a face mask

    • @chrissavage2128
      @chrissavage2128 Před rokem

      Similarly, a COVID mask is also a good way to reduce the consumption of flies whilst riding. Lol. I have the LO26 version 2 and its the best purchase I have made so far. I would recommend changing tyres and inner tube first. My inner tube ballooned day one. I changed it and the tyres and no problems at all since. I use for Uber eats delivery. perfect!

    Pretty good range on pure electric, I tend to leave mine in the highest gear, and throttle up to begin with, and then pedal awhile, with a mixture of both, pedalling and throttle, which returned 40 miles.....not to bad

    • @bubblesway
      @bubblesway  Před 3 lety

      Brendan Powell lol same I’m always in top gear

    • @brendanpowell9369

      bubbles way it is a luxury, especially moving away at traffic lights, just pull the throttle and safely away, effortless, and I honestly couldn’t go back to a bike without a throttle, it’s just so safe, and relaxing ( no panicking to find gears ) awesome 😎
