    Hey! You bought this bike from gearbest? Order was delivered by UPS? Was it delivered at your door or you had to get it from a UPS access point? Any additional taxes that you had to pay?

    • @JeffyTology
      @JeffyTology  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey, I bought it from aliexpress since it was out of stock from gearbest. It was delivered by dhl if I recall correctly straight to my door.
      As for taxes I didn't have to pay any import duty/tax since I picked a seller from EU. If you're in the EU and the product comes from an EU nation you should be good. If you're outside the EU, Id suggest trying to contact the seller first

    Is that 47.2km on *just* the throttle?
    I just got back from a ride on my Samebike LO26 350W PAS 3, I pedalled the whole way (minimal hills) and the battery died completely at 30km!

    • @JeffyTology
      @JeffyTology  Před 3 lety +1

      I basically fake pedalled whenever there were cops around (car or walking) just to avoid being stopped. I’d say give or take 1km, during the ride to the wind was against my back so it was easier for the bike to push me forwards.
      Did you do this over the winter? Batteries tend not to do well in cold weather and you get more range when it’s hot out. I’ve been averaging 37 to 40km during the winter.
      You also have to keep in mind that pedalling while pas is on still drains a lot specially if you’re going at a high speed, it’s pretty much exactly like having the throttle engaged. You probably want to stop pedalling for a bit and just cruise to preserve battery specially if it’s downhill.
      Last your weight will also come into factor when trying to get the most out of your battery.
      Hope this sort of helps, just use range videos like these as a reference since a lot of factors have an affect on battery life.

    what is the difference of 350w and 500w version pls ?

    • @JeffyTology
      @JeffyTology  Před 3 lety +1

      Main thing is the wattage, bigger motor which means its a tiny bit stronger power wise... acceleration, top speed and hill climbing will be better.
      Other difference is the types of wheels the 500w comes with spoke wheels and a thumb throttle, the 350w has mag wheels and a twist throttle.
      Apart from those the bike should be identical, comfort and handling wise :)

    What's the afvantages of PAS3 vs lets say 5?thx in advance

    • @JeffyTology
      @JeffyTology  Před 3 lety

      The lower the power assist the more gradual the power delivery is which means you'll use less power, I just find that for me I tend to get longer ranges using the lower power assists. It won't matter too much though if you're going at full speed all the time!

    • @JeffyTology
      @JeffyTology  Před 3 lety +1

      I actually got the bike so that my brother and I have bikes we can use.
      I already have a fat bike and didn't want to get another one, also the riding stance for both also differs I actually prefer the riding position of this bike compared to the engwe ep-2. I guess it's cause of all the time I was riding a mountain bike when I was a teen too used to it you know.
