I loved the fire portion of the other commission piece that i did so i wanted to try to do one without cells and to really look like fire! I really like how this piece came out! If you want a painting with no cells, try adding gloss medium to your mixture!
I am so happy that i found acrylic pouring/fluid art a few years ago. It has helped me in so many ways and it just keeps getting better and better. This visual arts creative outlet has made me so happy. I hope to keep doing this for years to come!

I was also thinking, oh I wonder if this would be fun to add resin to, for an almost 3D effect like you did on a previous pour (because you didn’t like how the pour turned out).. and then I see (on this one) you did get a little bit of texture as the paint was thicker. Cells or not, this is fabulous!
When you started blowing down at the bottom of the canvas I was like, yasss girl! That’s hawt 🔥

So happy I came across this video. I often do pours on old records and make clocks out of them. I had a client ask for a clock and they wanted it to look as if it was all flames and I could not figure out how best to execute the pour. I'm am so very excited to try the pour now, and I will try to post a pic for u to see my results

Beautiful fire. My son is a fire performance artist. I have photographed his work at close range at night. This painting is spot on. I like the texture too.
There is a product that I take with us when we go camping and it’s called “mystic fire”. It’s a small packet of “something” that when you throw the packet into a camp fire, it changes the colour of the flames. You get gold, blues, purples and yes green. My table is finally clearing up so I’m up for yet another challenge. Cheers Helen xxx
