Testimony of How God Showed Me She was "The One" (Romans 12:1) Knowing God's Will

  • Real life testimony of how I was deceived with a counterfeit from the enemy. I thought she was the one, but I did not test every spirit (1 John 4:1). Then how I was led by God to "The One" after I humbled myself (Psalm 25:9), committed my body as a living sacrifice (Romans 12:1), and patiently waited upon Him to show me who He had planned for me to marry (Jeremiah 29:11).

I'm curious, Did God speak to her too? I love those testimonies. In my case, I've been praying about my future husband since years ago, and I truly belief that God told me who my husband will be, through small signals. The man has not spoken to me yet, but certainly, if it is from God, it will come to pass.

I was in a relationship with someone dor many years. I began to pray because he just wouldn’t propose to me. So I finally had a dream where my grandmother told me to let him go and to find a new man. I woke up from the dream and was so upset, I cried so much. A while after, I fell back asleep and the dream CONTINUED!! This has never happened to be before. And in the second part of the dream, my dad and uncle were there and they were saying that my bf looked very deceitful and he wasn’t to be trusted. I then woke up knowing what to do and I will never forget that dream. It ran straight through my bones and body. I’m most certain God was saying EEEENOUGH! …

I don’t date. I’m not wasting my time. When he reveals the one I’ll pursue her for marriage. I’ve wasted enough of my life dating lol 😂

A good friend of mine, who has been married for 20 years now, said that if he had to do it all over again, he would only date when he was ready to get married, that casually dating carries the risk of being hurt. A minister gave a discussion on dating, and said many Christians make bad choices, because during the dating process, they don't do data collection on the person...they just like that he or she seems nice and attractive. So true. Red flags are overlooked too often. Ask lots of questions about that person's philosophy of life, goals, their salvation experience. It matters to ask these questions, because you can assume things and find out later you were totally wrong.

TRUTH 💯 I vowed and prayed the same. And have maintained my vow nearly 2 decades. The devil tried to deceive me too in more ways than one. I've even had people try to cast spells on me. I learned to try the spirits to discern whom or what I am dealing with. It is also why I never date, chat, or make myself available. The one for me WILL KNOW by the Power of the Holy Spirit how to woo me into exceptance and submission. I wait for my ONE and ONLY 💯

Would the Lord ever have you marry someone your not attracted to? Because marriage through Christ is a decision that will last your whole life, and I think it’s important to have a level of desire and attraction to that someone you are choosing to submit to in God’s perfect will?

This was a wonderful testimony. It highlights your obedience as you sought the Lord diligently. Bible says he is a rewarded of those who diligently seek him and that was you in this case. So encouraging thank you for sharing this great testimony.
