The people and cops that I talked to were all very friendly, except for a group of protestors who demanded I turn my camera off and leave. Watch the video to see how it all went down!

Basically I disagreed our country was racist and a few unhappy people from the bootcamp contacted my new job and tried to have me fired for disagreeing with that and their racial segregation agenda policies they were trying to push.

They were worried that I was a cop and there were people doing sketchy stuff so I get it. When going there, my intentions were pure, to meet people and learn about the issue. They chose to escalate the situation by being disrespectful and threatening until I complied and left.

Like all things evil, they hate for the light of truth to be shined on their actions. To film what they are doing would be no threat if they were not doing something illegal, immoral or harmful.
I'll argue that the actions were illegal but moral and entirely based in the principles of harm reduction.
Displacing precarious people is never a good thing for them, or anyone really. You just make people more desperate.
This justifies some form of activism to prevent or delay camp raids. The cost of a human life is immeasurably greater than insured machinery, which essentially becomes moral grounds for the action.
Jesus never spoke about respecting the property of the wealthy and powerful. He did hold volumes of sympathy for the downtrodden, and committed violence to the merchants in the temple.
You might have never had to resort to any kind of illegal action in your life to protect someone, but it doesn't mean you have to hate those that do. Please keep an open mind.

You had to physically hurt someone for it to be considered Violence. Turning over merchants tables set up to make money inside of his father's house was hardly considered Violence.

You speak of "harm reduction". I would imagine taking the land and making affordable housing for people to get an education so they can feed themselves is pretty moral.

I was homeless in berkeley, thats where i got hooked on heroin. I used to sleep in the park during the day and tweek out all night. Peoples Park was and is a blight. I am clean off all hard drugs now. Have a trade, own a home, own a business, life is much better now.
When he said there was people in "black block" and they didn't want to show their faces, the first thing I would of brought up is that they had already had their faces covered. Then when the girl in sunglasses interrupted, I would of said "its rude to butt in when men are talking.".

The thing the spokesperson for the people who felt uncomfortable about his recording was they were black-blocced up, meaning they were concealing their identities. Naturally, the only reason why they were concerned about being filmed was because they intended to break the law. Incredibly dangerous for everyone involved. Such individuals will escalate things to violence quickly banking on their anonymity to get away with murder.

I do recall a sense of community people looking out for each other & their camps against rip offs & violence .
