That's an awesome story. Good things come to those who are persistent. It's only a failure if you give up.
It's a failure when it doesnt work, not when you give up. When you give up, it's called quitting.
I know you try to be all inspirational and sh$t, but it helps using the right words
@@onlinebills9169 nah because you can fail and it's still beneficial because you learn from your failures. The most successful people fail often. Failure is a normal part of just about everything.
I agree though with your sentiment I just think we're saying it different ways.
But there are times where it makes all the sense in the world to walk away from something that is not working.
@@onlinebills9169 and it's more of a mentality then it is being inspirational and sh!T.
A mentality i only wish I lived by. Lol.
@@irocss85 I was precelise to my amswer. You said it's only a failure when you quit.
Whether you learned or not is irrelevant. You can learn from it and still quit, and thats called 'quitting'
@@irocss85 yes i gathered that.
so that was the bike in the background of the last video
I need one to ride around
Lets goooo
The model with the little round headlight looked good.
I gotta get one a these bikes like that week electric one from last episode. How much are these things lol where can we buy these?
just order a dirt bike frame from china and use those to mount all the components and you're good to go, with a competitive price that will sell like hot cakes without attempting to reinvent the wheel (or the frame in this case)
you don't have to make everything yourself, those big companies don't even do that lol they order pre fab everything from multiple distributors then release it, its commendable that you tried to build a bike from the ground up like this though. You could probably get hired at one of those big companies off this project alone, you clearly would be a valuable asset somewhere
I looked into that quite a bit. I did find a vendor who sold pit bike frames and parts, the problem is that the minimum quantity was 10 frames which was too much for me. I also found a seller who was willing to sell me just the frames for their electric dirt bikes but the MOQ was too big
I appreciate it bodie! I definitely considered it, but want to (foolishly) try and reinvent the wheel. It was so fun and we learned a ton from the whole endeavor. Now i just gotta swap the motor into a buggy and scrap the frame ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
did you guys quit the project?
drop the battery size by 25% and add an active balancer. remember the range and speed my bike can get
Scott!! Good to hear from you we need to catch up!
@@PITprojects you know where to find me
Not a SurRon killer Yet the battery alone to heavy my SurRon tune 15kw hit 81 mph Excel 21 Front 18 Rear Dunlop Greenline 8000 Bomber58 suspension Titanium Bolts, shafts,Bearings ,Swingarm, dirty bike throttle Smoke that bike 72 volt
I have a sur ron running more than 15kw, this bike destroys, no contest. Unfortunately, it feels like its gonna destroy itself tho…
Just to let you guys know that Katara in Greek, means 'curse'. Clearly ypu got what you asked for: a cursed bike. Maybe change the name and try again. If it works, you can thank me later.
Thats actually too funny. I never knew!
for a 50k budget, that doesnt look like a 50k bike at all.........
for that kinda money i could have made my electric bike design, wich would have been WAY sicker and better.
also big L that you didnt go front and rear adjustable suspension, that would be a huge deal for military use, since you can shrink it making it easier to transport.
Needs to be battle tested in Ukraine.
Shoulda named it after a gun part, not some communist
