Honda Rebel comes in the following
300cc
500cc
1100cc (w/clutch)
1100cc DCT (automatic)
1100cc T (touring, automatic w/ saddle bags and headlight cowl/windshield) - Zábava
With all due respect, one of your cons is the heat from the exhaust. That’s not a Rebel con. That’s an aftermarket exhaust design con.
Very true. I was speaking mainly on my specific aftermarket mod. Thanks for watching
Thank you, this makes me feel like riding again. I’m older & sold my Rebel 500, due to arthritis & rotator cuff surgery. I’m all healed now & ready to ride again, but felt the manual would fatigue me . Persons with disabilities can now ride again! Don’t listen to the critics & naysayers about automatic stigma, I’ve done this & that already in my lifetime , who cares , I want to ride again & feel the wind around me before I die.
I love this comment! The DCT transmission is amazing and smooth! The 1100 is a whole different animal compared to the 500 so be prepared to be addicted! 🤘🏼
Thank you for your candid review. I've heard things from you I haven't heard from majority of others so thx again.
Awesome! I’m glad I can bring a little bit more info to the table…or should I say streets? Lol. Thanks for watching!
Great job! Also, I have my Denali Sound Bomb facing downward. I just put 1040 miles on my DCT. Stay safe. 👍
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Good video. Been looking into the Rebel DCT. Love the look of it and loving the reviews on it. Been following Quasimotard for a couple of years now. Good dude.
You’ll love the DCT. I’m actually amazed on how the Dual Clutch Transmission works! Thanks for subscribing and watching! 🤘🏼
Thanks for this detailed review.
I appreciate you watching. Thank you.
Good looking bike, and I think you almost have convinced me to get one. Thanks for the video. Liked and subbed! 👍
I appreciate that a lot!
I got the 1100t DCT (all black)... I love it!
The one thing I'll say, is since there's no clutch to cut power to the engine, I incidentally rolled on the throttle while trying to brake (nothing serious, just startled me) so I just click it on neutral, until I'm ready to launch.
Do you mean you “whiskey throttled” it? Because when you start the bike it should automatically be in Neutral until you put it into Drive.
I bought my 1100T in the beginning of Dec. I was only able to take it out one day then the weather set in. I did fall in love with it the one day that I rode it. I was on the fence with getting the DCT but I'm not sorry I did. I just reupholstered my seat. I put a gel insert in it. I didn't notice any discomfort but I wasn't on it long and every review I have seen about the bike the seat was the biggest con so I figured since I have the time, I'll do that. I do plan on getting the Vance and Hines for mine. They made one for the 1100T so I'm excited for that. It is currently out of stock, but I keep checking so I can order it when they have them. I'm looking forward to spring though.... Thanks for the great video. I'm looking forward into seeing more from you. Ride safe!.
Check out my latest videos, my brother just picked up 1100T with a clutch. Youre going to love the V&H exhaust, it has a great sound to it! My latest videos show off my new seat, check it out. It’s pretty comfy for Amazon seat. Thanks for watching and commenting! 🤘🏼
💸 I went with the Mustang Solo seat, and my ass loves it, and I sit a little taller on the bike now. The Two Brothers exhaust sounds killer on my bike bro! I have huge hands so I had to put on the Grab On grip covers and they’re awesome! The best mod I’ve done has got to be the Memphis Shades Batwing with headlight extender. Crash bars and fog lights are next. I am definitely swapping out the front foot pegs! I don’t want to do too much to the bike and ruin its character. I love this machine!!! 💸👍
I might need to look into that seat! Your bike sounds killer! Thanks for watching!
i got a honda shadow, but i like the rebel 1100 too! thanks for sharing your review!!
I watched your video and was leaning towards a 2024 model. You sold it, brother, picking it up tomorrow. Great vid!
Hell ya! Congrats bro! Welcome to your new addiction! 🤘🏼
One of the cleanest I've seen 😮
Truly appreciate that! 🤘🏼
i must say your rebel 1100 is very tastefully done and looks like its still brand new. You must baby that thing, keeping it super clean.
I go through a lot of wax and microfiber towels 😂. Thank you & thanks for watching!
thanks for the review. Love the look of the rebel , When I get a cruiser its gonna be one of these. Like the look of the 1100T but just not sure about having dedicated saddlebags and fairings.
You’ll love the Rebel 1100. You can get the bike with or without the saddlebags. The saddlebags are 1k more.
The Rebel is looking good! Hope to see you at the Halloween Ride.
I should be there! 🤘🏼
Thinking of getting the dct for my first bike . I learnt in Manuel but I honestly would rather not have to think about gears. As I live in the city and don’t see the point if I don’t have use gears.
Honestly, thats a good reason. The DCT is so smooth, the way it shifts. You’ll love it! Thanks for subscribing and watching!
Just sold my Rebel 1100cc DCT 2021 after 14,800 miles.
Always drop it in 5he manul sporty set up.
Didn't like the ergonomics.
Just got the new Cl500
Scrambler. A lot more nimble and no more shoulder pain. A lot less power, but now I take every turn 19 miles faster.😅
I like that Scrambler a lot! Thanks for watching!
Love my Honda Navi but thinking of upgrading to this as my big girl bike. I've also been looking at the exact jacket, do you like it? Is it good for warm weather?
Good move. Navi to Rebel. You’ll love it. I honest don’t ride my Navi much. I’m addicted to this Rebel! I’m sponsored by HWK, so yes, I love the jacket. I truly do. Use my code at checkout to save MACLIFE
Thanks for the video, I'm considering buy on 1100 DCT. I'm a little concerned about how comfortable will be on long trips. I'am 1m69cm.
Thanks
I’ve done a few reviews on my bike. Check out my channel, you will see. The seat comfort is not the greatest but so many companies make upgraded seats for it. Few on Amazon, Corbin and Mustang. Thanks for watching!
Thank You for a great review! I have been riding since I was 10 yrs old( 67 now). Since an accident 2 yrs ago, I have lost the ability to shift( titanium foot ), miss the wind in my face. Looking for options. How are the shocks? Have you bottomed them out? Love your choice of options and the color!!!
You would love the DCT and find it comfortable specially in your situation. The shocks are great and can be adjusted. It comes with the spanner tool. It can be adjusted in believe 24 levels. I find it a smooth ride! Thanks for watching! 🤘🏼😎
I have the CTX700 DCT, and I recall seeing somewhere that if you manually shift (while in an automatic mode), the bike will "learn" your preferences and behave more like you want. When I changed out the battery, those settings seemed to disappear.... then picked back up after "relearning." IDK.... maybe it's just wishful thinking, but seems real. I'm selling this bike (on cycle trader now) and will sell my K1600GTL at the end of riding season and buy the Rebel 1100T DCT after moving to Florida (one less thing to move).
Wow, good info! Thanks for watching
🎉🎉🎉
May you please share the website where I can buy the bag behind the passenger seat? Thanks in advance!
Go on my CZcams page and scroll through. I just did a recent video. The entire video is on that bag. Thanks for watching.
It would have been nice to have heard the exhaust.
I have a “rev” video comparing the coffmans and V&H. Search it & Check it out! Thanks for watching.
does the rebel have cruise control?
It sure does!
What sissy bar is that?
I have a video on it. All the details are in the video. It’s the same video I put the saddle bag on.
I just bought a 2022 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. Absolutely love it so freaking scary powerful takes off so fast especially in SPORT MODE but i prefer STANDARD MODE is more smooth than SPORT MODE . Sometimes I use Sport mode not that often. I can see everything with the mirrors Mickey Mouse 🐭 just fine . I’m 5”4 and my feet 👣 is flat in the ground so so light and powerful. I always had clutch one but I love this one more “” is not for everyone definitely
Haha yes I love this bike! Sport mode is a different animal! I don’t mind the stock mirrors I just wanted to change the look some. Thanks for watching & commenting! 🤘🏼
