2023 Ford Grand Tourneo Connect review! | Better with help from Volkswagen??

The new 2023 Ford Grand Tourneo Connect is a surprise! But was it the surprise we were all expecting? Ford and Volkswagen have united again for the Ford Tourneo (Volkswagen Caddy)! They formerly worked together on the Ford Mondeo and Ford Galaxy (Volkswagen Passat and Sharan).
I'm suspecting its got something to do with production costs. Ford worked very hard and invested a lot on the new Ford Ranger, so they seeked help from Volkswagen for the Tourneo, to SAVE costs. In return, the helped Volkswagen with the Amarok, something which I find odd given that the Volkswagen group have shown a lot of enthusiasm for electric cars developed by themselves!
