I appreciate you take the effort to review normal, affordable family cars too. Please keep this active because a lot of other reviewers are tending to premiums only these days. Another nice video, your information is always on par.
That is in no way affordable.
Do look at Dacia's 7 seater or the Citroën picasso spacetourer
If only all new car reviews were as good, clear, and comprehensive as this.
Thank you, that’s really so kind
You're taking a shot at car wow, aren't you 🎯
Great to see a review of the Transit Courier at last. Thank you! Definitely more commercial content please Natisha. There's very little good stuff out there on CZcams compared to the car sector.
great review tish thanks for sharing happy 2024
Much better looking van than previous generation, interesting review👍
:)🤣
Another brilliant presentation, Tish.
A very interesting review Tish. It's great to see a commercial vehicle review along side it's van based car stablemate. A lot of van based cars are a tad utilitarian so this is fine for the Tourneo, what is nice to see though is the rear window open (you can see the switch at 10:55). On some van based cars they might have a small opening clip at the back of the window or may be fixed. I think it's a great idea to test some more commercial vehicles as well as cars that may be based on them. Many thanks for sharing.
Excellent presented and reviewed ❤
I’m not shopping for a van, but still enjoyed watching your review of one.
I appreciate that!
I would love to see both offered here in the States 🇺🇸 😊 fantastic review 👍🏾🙂
Great review Tish….. I like the Tourneo vibe
Another excellent auto review Tish , not sure about the front hieght of the van but overall i do like it . I own a 17 plate Transit Connect so wondering if you might get the chance to review the latest one of those . 👍
Greetings from the west coast of Canada. Thanks for the review. A 1973 light-blue Ford Courier pickup -- really a Mazda -- was my first vehicle, and many decades later I'm driving a similar-colour '23 Chevy Bolt euv (fully-electric). The Courier Tourneo ev looks great to me, and I wish we got it here.
I love my Transit Connect Short Wheel Base 5-passenger (in USA) that is now about 10 years old--si sad to hear in US it's being dropped. I haul stuff, not people, but love it handles like a car. So glad to see a new version that might get to the US when I'm ready for a replacement--I like the 2 tone, but it looks to me to have less room than the TC, and cheaper interior--but I like that back stash compartment! I'm not a fan of over inflated hoods, but if that means it's easier to get to the battery, that's a win!
Excellent review. Will you be doing a review of the new Ford Connect van? I think it should be available later in the year.
The Tourneo looks rather good. I got fed up with my Caddy and those stupid speed restrictions, this looks like a possible answer although I think that small engine might make driving quite hard work. This is worth looking into though. An excellent review as always Trish 👍
I wish more cars allowed you to store the parcel shelf. So useful on weekends away with varying in loads and wanting to leave it parked with part of the stuff in
Beautiful design
Fantastic review and a really nice car, it'd suit me a lot.
8:53 Matt Watson will be disappointed he cant throw it
Best female car journalist ever, sensibly dressed, articulate and clear speaking voice, well informed on the prodduct, no funny pantomime movements or silly jokes.
I like the passenger one alot. I want the smallest footprint for the most interior space for driving around town, loading with kids pushchairs etc. Reminds me a lot of JDM cars like this like the Honda Stepwgn, which they don’t sell in the UK. Definitely checking this out when I need to replace my Peugeot 3008 next year.
I’d appreciate your thoughts on the Citroen Berlingo and the Peugeot Rifter. I apologise if you’ve already covered these vehicles in your CZcams videos. Thank you in anticipation. Kindest regards, Chris Harris
Wish we could get that panel van here in the US. That’d be great for carrying my mountain bikes around in. Too bad it doesn’t use Ford’s excellent 2.5L hybrid…
best use I have seen for an SUV platform to be honest
Nice car. I would like it to arrive in my country. I'm going to buy one for my work.
i wonder if ford have fixed the wet belt blowing the engine up issue....
I enjoyed watching the Video. I like the styling, particularly the Transit Tourneo Active 😊
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it ☺️
great video, does anyone knows if the rear seats are removable? thank you 🙌🏼
I’m not sure but I will be doing an updated video, so I will add this to my list of questions to cover.
@@AutoSocialUK thank you very much 🙏🏼
tourneo looks very practical i have a 2013 berlingo and the stuff you can transport along with the family ! the eco boost engine argh!
And three child seats easily fit across the rear in the Berlingo/Stellantis vehicles.
Here in Tombstone, Arizona, I have a 2013 Ford Transit Connect van. In the states, that year had high roof, which sdly went away in 2014. Mine is a delight. Perfect around town for shopping, and then for camping way, way offroad. It goes anywhere except sand... but I carry a shovel to dig it out. On trips, I sleep in it on the street very comfortably, no problems with the police or criminals, and stay in a hotel now and then to wash up.
Good video, but don't think I'll trade mine in on this new one. I like the design of mine better. Simpler controls, far less electronics. And mine is one of the last vehicles that doesn't continually pester you to put on a seatbelt. If I ran Ford, I'd put in back into production with only one change -- adding a steel skidplate under the front bumper. Sure wanted that going up a truly rocky bumpy road to nearby China Camp, hign up in the Dragoon Montains where Cochise and Geronimo fought the US Cavalry for so many years...
Thank you for your review Tish. On the design, I think it has far too long a 'nose'. I think engine wise, I would think long and hard, if a 1.0 litre would be capable of giving a long, high-mileage service, for a commercial vehicle.
...it seem as if someone somewhere think the 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo EcoBoom motor is a good fit for everything when it has been known to be problematic... is Ford an the fools buying this rubbish really that stupid...
...keep it that side of the pond... please!
We don't want that s#it here!
Good looking useful vehicle but the engine is trouble from recent articles.
The Tourneo almost gets it right. The back seat accommodation as come up as lacking a few amenities, storage being a letdown. The front seat passenger and driver fair better, especially as the overhead storage bin is included. The unusually large headroom creates an opportunity for the designer to include some extra storage bins for the rear seat passengers. You can never have too much storage !!
nice one
That's a great review, eco boost engine best avoided
Takes straight to 80's
Ford have also released a new shape Transit Connect that will be coming later in the year based on a Volkswagen Caddy, when it comes out you should do a review on that too
Ford have blown it
30 grand over here in Spain.Loved my tourneo only 13 k new.
No fiesta focus or Mondeo.
I drove a Courier in its first guise with the Fiesta front end. The 1.8 diesel was a flying machine.....
A bit of a different review for the channel Tish. Still enjoyable but the background music i found distracting. The Transit will still be high in the popularity stakes for years to come it seems.
Awesome review! I live in the US, so these vehicles are not available. The Puma must be a variant of the Mach-E which is the EV offering from FORD. Amazing vehicles!
British people would love to have American trucks at American prices.
It's not, we got the mach e aswell. The puma is on the fiesta base, only higher.
The last Transit courier was much better looking. You were right about Transit do Tish. It used to be just the Ford Transit and then Ford decided to go and make everything more complicated and expand it. The courier used to be a stand alone model. Ford will need a new smaller van now to compete with the Peugeot bibber and whatever the small Citroen van is are maybe they will just not bother at all now.
I disagree about a dull dash in a van Tish. The last Transit Couriet basically had the Firsta dash in it so plenty stylish and Renault van dash have been very stylish too. The last Transit pre revamp before the new one had a very stylish dash too. I woukd still not buy a big Transit do. A VW Transporter is a much nicer van to be in.
The outgoing model was a joy to travel in, it was just like a big, airy spacious mpv inside, it looked like a cockpit from a spaceship with its really deep dashboard! This new interior is just a stupid drab slab of plastic, it should be considered offensive really...
Number plates are from Köln, where I'm living. Of course, the European HQ of Ford is here. 😊
Towing is still too little. The Berlingo has at least 1500kg with the Diesel. My niece has one and it has three single seats in the back with 3 times isofix. And she uses the car to pull the caravan weighing 1200kgs.
I think the Torneo Courier could find a place in the U.S. - use either the 1.5L 3cyl or the 2.0 4cyl. If the chassis allows, the PHEV engine/drivetrain. Does need a larger door card and hopefully not too much plasticky stuff.
The Berlingo now has a bulkhead without option to remove it and speed limited, Ford is going to get all Citroëns customers and im one of them!
Nice Honda Element!
love her accent
Beautiful design on both
camper conversion companies will love this
That rear seat stops short of the doors, hence the lack of width. We had a current model Berlingo until recently, it had three full rear seats, which obviously is a must in such a roomy, versatile family car. I'd still take a Berlingo over this.
Why don't you provide list prices ?
Seems like a nice Van, I really like the squared off styling, no separate heating controls means its a deal killer for me, Safety is always #1, I like to keep my eyes on the road, Those tablets are cheap to make and expensive to replace, the whole van is no use once it breaks, I'm very tired of screens, every vehicle has different operating software too, its a nightmare. The Dash is very Blahhh not as nice as my Connect.
There is a space on dash for your phone oh and one down hear😊
I think the presenter looks far better than a ford van that’s for sure ! ❤
Why the move to 6 gears? Is the engine less flexible or do people enjoy changing gear?
might have something to do with 20 mph being the speed limit in lots of places now.... a bit awkward with some 5 speed boxes...
@@iainansell5930 You can easily drive at 20 with a three speed box why do tou need 6 ?
Hello. I really like the new Ford Courrier. Naturally, I choose the passenger version. This model is very elegant and I think it is also very reliable. Ford is recognized as a reliable brand. Will it be built in my country Romania? Nice presentation
ummm ford have not had a good time with the wet belt issues in recent years, i wouldn't say its reliable yet...
The Courier looks like an updated Honda Element. Nice
😍😍😍
Touran was a size up from that, wasnt it
Wouldn't this new Courier enroach into the Connect? Since if the courier is bigger almost the same size as the Connect?
The connect is due to be updated and all will be reveal this coming week 👀
Tourneo looks really nice, not that I'm looking for one :)
Another Wet Belt Maybe
No, I don’t think so. The engine has changed to chain drive.
Any 7-seat version available?
I will double check but it wasn’t mentioned. Seems silly not to offer it.
I watched assuming there would be an EV version… especially being based on the Puma…surprised the ecoboom is still being pushed onto punters 😮
Vanlife people. Rejoice!
This looks very interesting, shame about the availability, not everyone will have the chance.
My interest would be in the courier. Two things, first I would hate to have to fiddle about with a computer to operate the radio and heater, I like proper switches and secondly, the reliability and longevity of the ecoboost engine.
imagine if you are wearing gloves in cold weather as a multi drop driver...
WOW 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Just absolutely Gorgeous 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 The Woman not the transport 😊
Oh! Natisha how lovely to see a woman with natural beauty, PS: The Tourneo is my choice.
Postman Pat rides again
1st thing to mention on any ev car/van videos is range. That's all workers care about in a van.
This isn’t an EV ☺️
13:05 Nice vehicles, but I would prefer to use this just for business purposes only and not as a personal vehicle.
The Tourneo is an ideal car for Noddy.
You'll be placing an order then?
its actually very good designed in and out. not sure about engines though, ford did some very serious mistakes with those
Love the new look
Comes with the Ecoboom engine. So that's not worth buying
But I heard ford changed it to timing chain since 2020 so it remains to be seen if the new ones at higher mileages are failing like the old ones
Would like with more power larger engine and greater towing capacity
The front looks like the old MG5 electric estate , or a 5 year old VW Passat
I think they look pretty good. Practical alternative to small SUVs like the Hyundai Bayon and Citroen C3 Aircross. Good sliding doors too,
Another Ford vehicle that should be sold in Australia but as usual we only get what Ford wants to give its customers, never what the customer wants and why Ford now struggles to grow market share because they follow American management practices of maximum profit to reward only shareholders and CEO"s, Toyota has a waiting list for its cars for years, it gives what the customer wants and stands behind its warranties something that Ford struggles with "Trust"' in its brand.
Mixed bag. Some clever features and a practical shape but the US truck style front end is horrendous.
I love the look of it
I prefer the last courier van , this new look does seem to me it’s rather Chinese looking van , look at the Maxus van and you see what I’m referring to .
In that colour the tourneo looks French. Pity it does not have a decent engine.
I can really see that 😂 it does look much more like the Stellantis products now
What do people also associate big window being better for car sickness when all the people I know say the windows do not help and not see the world move is better.
Needs more hp in them all, requires 7seat option, I wouldn't have gone if you are a Last minute choice either.
With all that headroom, the Tourneo will be ideal for 5 bearskin-wearing soldiers buzzing around the palace. But the middle guy in the back will need to go on a diet 💂♀️💂♀️💂♀️💂♀️💂♀️
The B pillar seems to be too far forward and the doors too short. I'd hate getting in and out of this van.
No electric version?!
Yes, they are on the way
Sarà un grave errore commerciale non disporre di una versione diesel per il tourneo courier
Have a 1960/1970 petrol van look.
I wish this were sold here in the US. The minivans we have here are over styled, garish, unmasculine, and expensive.
There were supposed to be full BEV versions of all these Transits. But Ford just don't have the technical and manufacturing capabilities to build them. They were badly caught with their pants down. It's the same for the Ford passenger vehicles, they were supposed to announce them Q12023 for delivery Q3, but they failed miserably. Not quite as bad as Toyota, but not far behind.
Sad to say Ford EVs are not selling as well as some people seem to think, maybe Ford have done the right thing this time.
Or maybe Ford have realised that manufacturing vehicles that don’t sell really isn’t the best business model?
EcoBoost or EcoBlue - avoid! Also, the transmissions are below standard.
It's not possible to use your phone, in any position and drive safely.
Shocking feature from Ford you should have pointed out.
This 3 cylinder engine, is greatest minus.
To treat this vehicle as a commercial vehicle only would show that Fords marketing department is braindead, it should be a full-on everyday model for the masses, a totally practical car for everyday use not a show pony to impress one's neighbors like the normal useless sedan.
My experience with new fords is to advise people not to buy them, I have driven fords for years and they were reliable, but in recent years I have found them good for one thing and that's for keeping the local garages in business.
😊
Something about cars, She is cute though
It's good they make it electric as well, but c'mon Ford, give decent LED lights
Well presented and wow❤ what a woman sexy beautiful. Love the voice also.
