Arctic Cat M8 Track and Skid Install onto a M7

  • Here is how I installed an Arctic Cat M8 track and skid on my Arctic Cat M7.
    The skid mounting points are the same so it was a fairly straightforward install, plus the M8 skid is lighter than the M7 skid. If you have any questions or recommendations feel free the throw them in the comments!

    Good video, I’m actually looking to swap a m7 skid in my 2011 M8, I junked my rails twice and the whole m7 skid can be had cheaper and looks stronger.

      The M7 skid will be alot heavier than the M8 skid, and its not as adjustable as the M8 skid. The M8 skid actually has bigger rails then the M7 skid that was on my sled!

      Yea, I’m not too concerned about the weight, I’m just tired of breaking the rails in two. I ended up finding a set of used ice age rails in the end.

    Good job, it's a major PITA to change out a skid n track...
