Awesome advise from the Guru of licensing himself. In South Africa, there are few people who understands licensing. The internet is the only place where I access people who like minded. I've shared this concept my friends and told them I Wana do this for a living... But I could see in their eyes to them It seemed near impossible even because the companies I told them I Wana try are In North America. But I am in🍻

Filed both design and provisional patent. Now, i got invited to the chairmans office of a big conglomerate into water storage tanks in India for discussions after I sent proposal to them on mail. How do I prepare for this. Will be taking a PPT but have a prototype with me. Can you please guide. And, thanks for the personal story.😊 It inspires me so much.
I have a doubt: Do you have to wait for a patent to be approved to close a licensing agreement with a company or can you do it even if the invention is patent pending? What do most inventors usually do? Do they wait or do they start reaching out to companies as soon as they file a patent application?

No one wait for a patent to be issued. Most ideas that get licensed there’s no issued patent.
