Not disability. Just a special type of ability! Very inspiring
When he says grown up stuff scares him, everyone of us is a kid inside trying to project an image of competence. Great video guys.
Thank you for watching Judd!
#Adulting scares so many of us.. 🙇🏾♂️
This guys is as honest and real as it gets. Very inspirational for all us grown up "kids". Thank you for this.
What I liked about this video the Guest’s age, he is about 65 and looks as enthusiastic as 14 years old.....that’s “The Inventors’ Mentality”....
Thank you Steve for this great input.
What I like about this industry, being creative you never grow old!
How creativity keeps you young: www.inc.com/stephen-key/want-to-feel-younger-it-s-never-too-late-to-try-licensing-your-ideas.html
This guy reminds me sooo much of Robin Williams...great video and very inspirational!!!
Thanks for watching!
Yes! That’s exactly what I was thinking.
He and Robin Williams were/ are bi polar.
Love how honest this guy is. He's so inspirational!
I love this guy! “I have No boundaries”
Such a great line.
Great Stuff! I love the fact that Brian is the REAL deal - brilliant, quirky, good personality but ... NOT polished! His story is inspiring because he speaks of his setbacks as well as his victories. Thanks Steven!
Yes Brian is perfect example of how the imagination just plain kicks in with no extra effort. He see things in his mind before they are created. He continuously modifies things in his head and then with with tooling to make them what they could be. I totally get it, wish I could have started earlier. It's nice to hear about a story like his.
I completely agree with the connection to Brian! Hey, at times I wish I could have/would have started earlier. But, I remind myself I wouldn't have been able to work through things as well because didn't have the experience I have by getting started later.
Brian's incredibly open, hardworking, and inspirational! Thank you so much InventRight for introducing us to him!

Brian give yourself a hand shake from all of us. Thank you so much as real people doing crazy things using their minds....
Who or why would anyone give this a thumbs down!? MOTIVATING x2 I just started reading your first book. I have an old school buddy up here in Ontario that has met you Stephen. He and I are moving forward.
Brian is a true rock star in the industry!!!!! I so can relate to his background!!
"rejection is my middle name" man this was one of the best videos thanks guys! It truly is a numbers game
Thank you Stephen and Brian. This was such an energetic and inspiring interview!
Thank you very much!
Where is Brian from
Very inspirational..thank you for sharing your story, Brian!
This man inspire me to continue with my ideas and continue on my journey. Thank you very much.
Keep inventing!
Wowww!! So inspirational!! Thanks!! I am following you all through my invention journey and I am doing all the things you all suggest..i really hope I get blessed like this guy!!
This is my favorite video so far!
Excellent advice! Thanks to both of you.
Absolutely love this guy- both of you guys! Thanks so much for your inspiration and candid sharing- I can't tell you enough how much it means
Thank you for the kind words!
I've been delaying watching this video due to its length, but now I can say this was the best way to invest 15 and a half minutes of my life, in a long time!. Three takeaways (for me):
1) if you're working on an invention: FINISH IT!
2) Don't rush on a Provisional Patent, evaluate all possible angles
3) Have someone to keep you on track.
Any other takeaway fellow inventors?
Your takeaways are perfect! Thanks for watching Miguel!
He’s the epitome of a mad genius. What a brilliant guy.
N T yes!
This is a great lesson from Brian that a “ disability” is not an excuse for him. NO EXCUSES for the rest of us!
Absolutely!
What a great video. You really do need a coach. With the expertise and motivation, you really can't go any other way. Thanks again guys!
Imagination is more important than knowledge... words from a genius guy
Ha! That's my friend Brian! After I' studied the IR program and read the One Simple Idea book, I told Brian about the program and I'm so glad he got involved... He needs a good team!
Michael you ROCK!!! Thank you for spreading the word.
Hope you both had as much fun making the video as I did watching it!
Hello Chuck, it's time to interview you!
Stephen this is the best interview I've seen thus far from InventRight.

It was meant for me to watch your video. The day I found you was a little mysterious. I was on my phone and was looking for a patent attorney and your video channeled in on my phone. I was so surprised it happened so fast. I surely am glad that happened cause now I'm watching you, Brian and Anthony, these videos are so informative, thank you.
There is a list of inventor-friendly patent attorneys and patent agents on the inventRight website. Check it out: www.inventright.com/help/patent-attorneys
Brian you are definitely one in a million, love your enthusiasm and will love to one day sit and share my ideas with both you and Steven.
Thank you Tara!
Great to watch this! The guy is very unassuming and down to earth and very talented. Inspirational to all of us out there trying to make our way in life. Thanks to both of you!
It’s an amazing interview. Thank you for watching.
Brian Walker's awesome! love this video
Lets all get inventing during this lockdown 😅😁
My older brother from another mother....thanks for inspiring not to quit
this is so amazing and i love his energy!!!!
That is cool! Best IR so far
Thank you very much!
TOTALLY relate to Brian!!! He’s just a big kid - Love Him!!! 💙
My new hero!!!
Brian Walker I'm like you... Through out my life everybody had told me to concentrate on one type of project but I'm like you said General Inventor
Thx for sharing this gives me hope that one of my concepts/ideas/projects are going to make it!!!
This was really cool. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
Wow ... , this interview video clip is truly awesome! There are lots of us out here, inventors, who don't know how to start or get the funding for our inventions.
I would agree also!
wow! I have so much information from this video. Thanks
Focus focus FOCUS!!! key key key. People that's a big KEY. Fight the good fight, it's important. :)
Absolutely!
What an inspiration Brian is! I wish I had his brain.(Just realized Brian and Brain are the same letters) I am so happy he knew about PPAs, which saved him a lot of money. Steven: "So, you made, you made a couple of dollars?" (With a knowing expression) I am no expert in licensing, but his agent took a third of his royalties. That might be a little steep, and Steven might have thought the same, with a slightly revealing expression at 4:43
We had to edit this video down. He's not using anyone to represent him now. Thanks for watching!
@@stephenkey3137 Brilliant! I am happy he has found the winning Invent Right team!
Thank you, this is motivating!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Bryan Walker for your confidence.
I, m bipolar, bilingual & bicultural.
Diagnosed Hyperactive ADD at 33 years of Age. The Armed forces wouldn't take. Scores 72 percentile. Me because of age & large family. Got my first PPA 2015, with a revolutionary technology.
One piece. Automotive theft determent lock and a hockey puck. Capable to be installed on Motorcycles wheels, Cars' Wheels, Trucks' Wheels, including attached to the Steering wheel. Basic embodiments fit 18-Wheel trucks ALCOA Wheels.Ramifications are able to instal on over 50% of wheel And/or Steering wheels on modern Transports.
I have been inventing since 1995- i only applied for PPA. Expired 2015
We want to change paradigms.
Thank you for your story. Thomas Alva Edison was mexican too, bipolar, bilingual And Bicultural.
He spent $ like you, it doesn't matter it's only printed paper.
Manufactured by the Bankers.
Invent with the reuse, recycle & repurpose in mind.
What an inspiration!
I would agree, thank you Darryl!
Stephen has said before that one of the industries to avoid is the toy industry. I guess the real secret to successfully licensing an invention idea, is to have a really good agent.
I actually contributed towards that 10 mill. Bought a R2D2 @ Disney world 2013
Brian, you just described my life...
Great interview 👍🏿
I agree. They both did a great job with this one. - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder
Omg this is sooo me ! Thank you for sharing this !
I’ve watched this video many times. Inspiring every time.
That’s fantastic. Please subscribe if you haven’t already!
Thanks,
Kind of reminds me of Jimmy Buffett writing Margaritaville in 5 minutes and finishing it up in Key West for a few minutes spawned an empire. Awesome!!
Great information 🙏 👍 🍀 💯
Very inspiring!! Thank you very much for those key aspects to have prepared before filling a provisional. I believe its important to have done all the work you can prior to getting in contact with a proposed company, and having all the steps for production and processes involved figured out prior would furnish the best chance for success!!
Im not to sure if we are talking about having those steps inline before filling a provisional or is he talking proposing to a Company for licensing? I too have ADHD and have problems with bringing things to completion but feel really strongly about getting my invention to market, but need to step up and do those bits of homework to have that stuff to present!! Thank you again for all your efforts in helping us learn the lessons that you've been through firsthand... Any help would be greatly welcomed!!
P.s. I actually have several items id like to licsence, and One id like to take over as a business and manufacture myself.

Wow! Really cool video.
thats wat i call a grate advice
Great video! Love both those guys!
Question: If a PPA expires, am I correct to say that you can file another one if the product never becomes public disclosure?
That is my understanding and that you would lose your initial priority date when converting to a full patent application. This could be a problem in the event a "like-mind" comes up with a similar idea and filed their provisional before you re-file.
Yes. Read Stephen's article on this exact subject: www.inc.com/stephen-key/what-to-do-when-your-provisional-patent-application-is-about-to-expire.html
This guy is so cool!!
Love this guy.
Wow... Great great discussion !!! Love Mr. Walker's attitude & spirit. I hope 5 years later he's doing just as well !
Glad you liked the discussion. Keep Inventing! - Andrew Krauss, inventRight Co-Founder ( Call, email, book an appointment or request more info about how we can help by visiting us here. inventright.com/contact/ )
I remember seeing those when I was little
Nice!!! I have a product idea right now that I am making the effort to license. I have so much more in my head....
I’m kind of like you with being more of a thinker than a speaker. So I hope these phone calls go well. Lol. Cause I get nervous. But I’m ready for it.
Question. Can you get someone to license your product even with a provision patent?
Absolutely. 99% of our students license their ideas with just a provisional patent application. More on our strategy: www.inc.com/stephen-key/how-to-license-an-idea-without-a-patent.html
If you're looking for help, reach out! www.inventright.com/contact
Most do, read patents. All products start as Ptent Pending.
No product goes from prototype To Patented.
Awesome video
Thanks for watching!
i had one of those light chasers as a kid, wow crazy
Really good! A big question for you .... once a PPA expires can it be applied for again??
Aww man, I had one of those when I was a kid!
Good video
I'm curious how you opened the door at disney. I'd love to pitch to them but don't have a contact there. Did you protect your idea beyond a non disclosure and a non compete, such as a provisional or another way.
Thank you
Brian "aka" Elmer fud lol is a brilliant guy ty sir!!! Stay fun and humble
OMG this man is real 😳 crazy inventer,,, no family,,no permanent Job,,But Chasing His DREAMS 😃😄😁😇
Where did he send his invention? Sorry if I missed that? Thank you.
Inspiring story.
WOOHOO! WAY TO GO!!
Great video guys
Thank you so so much!
There's No Quick there's Quicker ... Best Phrase from Brian.

Cheers.
Thanks for commenting and watching!
This guy is special
Holy cow this guy is me! Ive got ADHD and dyslexia. Struggled in school all my life but I've been pushing college and never stopped. In my free time I tinker and build cool random inventions. Id love nothing more than to make a living off my ideas!

@inventRightTV what are some companies you went through to get your invention created and patented ? What are some top companies?
Best advice app! Finish your product before going on to another.

Very inspirational.

Hi!! I just put in two provisional patent applications. It's my understanding the I have patent pending status now!
One is for a type of trash bag. What do I need now? Do I need a video demonstration? Do I just call up companies and present? What's the next step? Thank you

I love rejection it makes the acceptance valuable...
Is it possible to file a PPA for a USD application?
I have an invention for a specific trade. I can see it being sold in 10s of thousands stores world wide! I used my first prototype and it worked ok. My second prototype it worked great. Now I'm hoping to start talking to the right people to get some samples made. Wish me luck!
One simple idea just shipped to my house ordered another copy for my partner today.
Thank you for reading!

About 18 years ago, I was one of the 100 winners in the Invent Now, America contest with my "NexTrend Garlic Twister". We were all invited to participate in an all-expense paid show of our inventions at the Universal Studio in Orlando. At that show I particularly remember two contest winners, one was a musician with his "Footflush". And the other was someone with a spinning light on a Micky Mouse hat and at that time he had already made over $1M having licensed this product to Disneyland. If this is Brian Walker of inventRight that I am describing, I sure would like to get in contact and have a chat with you. Cheers! Eric
Sure sounds like it! Cool contest.
@@inventRight The contest was sponsored by the USPTO and was open to all in those days. Now I think it’s open just to the students.
what is the difference with shark episode of invention with % share VS. Royalty ?
Cool!
What are the royalties a percentage of? There are many costs associated with a product, like the cost of specific materials, the cost of basic parts, the the cost of transporting the parts to the factory, the acquisition price that the producer pays for his parts, the manufacturing cost of the plant producing the item, the acquisition price of the stores that buy the product from the manufacturer, then the market price of the product and so on.
There are many prices involved in bringing a product to the market.
Question is: Which price are the royalties calculated against?
Many thanks!!
If I sent in a pavilion patent application in one year, what happens can I re-file?
