What’s really great about that too is that it shows that standards are starting to change in Korea. I’ve noticed in some new idols that they’re just acting as themselves instead of appearing a certain way to “save face.” I’m glad to see this change. I personally think Korean beauty standards and the people who enforce them need to chill.

This may sound weird but I absolutely love how healthy she is? After seeing so many idols starve themselves and do messed up diets, it's such a relief to see her succeed without hurting herself.

Before watching this I was watching another video and it was about the harsh life of a Japanese trainee called Mizhuo who is working very hard to become a k pop idol she and the other trainees are forced into diets and were only supposed to weigh below 50kg and after a hardwork and years of practise she still didnt get to debut.
No offence to the Koreans but i hate the Korean Beauty standards like seriously? U want a person to weigh below 50kg and starve them, thats just torcher and abuse!
If u wanna loose weight then exercise and eat healthy food not junk food and get and good rest and these trainees literally dont even get enough sleep (they only sleep for like 1or
2hrs and then the whole day they spent practising) and when they are also sick or ill they are still supposed to work out!!😡😣

Our beautiful maknae! Don’t ever change queen . I almost give up on Kpop bc of the same concept. I still remember the first time I’ve ever laid my eyes on Hwasa. It was a CZcams video comparing kpop idol beauty standards. While scrolling through the comments, almost 60% of them mentioned Hwasa. I was so curious to know who she was. I typed her name and the first video i saw was “Hwasa bias wrecker” lol. From that moment on i knew it was stan at first sight😂😂. It was a decision I’ve never regretted. Their chemistry with one another, their staff, and most importantly their interaction with their fans are pure and genuine👑❣️❣️
I'm literally going to cry, I feel so proud of her 😭 when the first i stan them, people not even recognise her and said she's not the standar for korean gb, said to loss her weight, she look too old etc. And now, people just fall for her charm that actually already there since the beginning. I feel happy with mmm achievement 💕💕
Fa-fa-finally fa-fa-fa-finally!!!! Finally!!! Koreans used to bash on her because of her looks. I'm so proud now that people seems to see her true self and charms instead take a second look on her charming personality. Mamamoo members each have a very unique and different aura. Tim Tran that's were you're kind of wrong friend. I watched or rather listened to when producers were talking about Mamamoo that within their international fans, Hwasa has the most bias. It's bec. she's the prime example of a queen, someone who regardless of not having the standard korean beauty works to achieve her dreams. This may be just me, but I feel that South-Korea is finally really accepting and realising that being truthfull and completely honest is what attacts people in the end.
Idols like Heechul, Hani, Jackson, Mamamoo and BTS never pretended to be someone they are not. People react to their freshness and want to see more of that them.
If you look at the music history. Idols who got personal and musical freedom are the ones who are big right now.
I really hope companies take a hint and give their trainees more freedom to be who they are.

I honestly from the bottom of my heart regretted the fact that i used to ignore her. Not ignore in a way where i just skip her completely its just that i used to feel like she was in a way overshadowed in mamamoo esp for me being a full time solar biased. Thank GOD i was completely wrong on that. Hwasa is just damnnn on another level she is one of those rare people that uses all the criticism and harshmess she has faced and to say she is now a queen would be an understatement.
