I feel like this song is criminally underrated compared to the others in the movie. Andrew Garfield’s facial expressions really show Larson’s feelings, Alexandra Shipp’s voice is so soothing, and Vanessa Hudgens really improved. Their voices match so well, the lyrics are so well-written, the harmony during the finale high note is amazing. Everything about Tick Tick Boom makes it a masterpiece, but this scene itself reflect a mix between love, regret, care and sadness. This is both heart wrenching and heartwarming, I love it so much. Had to restrain myself from crying during the whole second part of the movie.
I got that Andrew’s acting is superb but it must say that Vanessa Hudgens really killed it. She was fantastic and her voice is pure, as always.
I love the emphasis on the word "Box" I don't know why it stands out to me so much. It just really gets the point of the song across!

@@koohpa i did. I stopped watching after episode 6. It was indeed an original and the message were interesting, it's just not executed properly. Some parts were just unbelievable and unrealistic so I dropped it.

I've since read more about the plot that this goes to from Jonathan Larson. It's really a Sci-Fi kind of a bizarre glimpse into the future that we are now living. Siento que los gestos, las expresiones y los movimientos de los actores son muy exagerados, muy notorios, no sé...es como si les dijeron tienen q verse emocionados y ''actúan'' q estan emocionados de una forma super obvia. El publico, cuando canta vanessa, es super forzado en cuanto a sus emociones al escucharla cantar..pienso q se nota mucho la mano teatral de lin manuel miranda. Se nota q es director de teatro y no de cine propiamente tal..igual la peli es entrete y las canciones pegajosas pero este video en particular es muy teatro. jajajja.
