Well done. Great video. Just bought my 2nd Buckmark. Sold the 1st one (standard model) more than 20 years ago and missed it ever since so now I have a micro field target bull barrel with full top rail. They're really a lot of fun.

Great content. Would like to see the work being done occasionally. I have an old Nickel camper that has served me well over the years. Some of the Nickel is chipping where the slide hits the barrel but other than that it is amazing.

Try trigger pulling with the tip of your finger. Wrapping the trigger as your doing will cause you to pull off target. And as someone else said, get a lower optic. Swamp fox or something.
    Nice gun, good video.

If your red dot is not round, you have astigmatism in your eye or eyes.

Why such a tall sight on the BM? It's for an AR where you need height, Get a little red dot or a reflex.
Nice gun, but why you kill it dude?

Thanks, but I'm not to sure what you mean by killed it. It's not a permanent modification by any means. I mention it in the video, but I keep SHTF in the back of my mind with all my set ups and I explain I chose this due to being able to use my iron sights as a back up while the optic is mounted. Very common thought process on pistols albeit not really in 22lr as it's not a primary self defence choice. But imagine I haven't eaten in 3 days, I come across a raccoon, it doesn't know I'm there, and right before I make my shot, my battery dies. Sounds silly maybe but that's my reasoning. A user can use a riser in whatever way s/he see's fit for whatever end goal as long as it doesn't hinder performance. If you have a better suggestion on co-witnessing on this platform I'm all ears!

@@killshotcanuck You are not serious with that question, right? You didn't know that many of the low mounted red dot sights have the ability to SEE the front sight through the RED dot sight with the rear sight right in the sight picture? You're able to co-witness any time you're shooting it!
And yet you mount this AR style sight on your poor little Buck Mark, come on man, LOL Yer friends must think you fell on yer head!🤣Start with a Holson 507, most like to see the 1/3rd co-witness picture. The best way is to have the dot sit right above the front sight so as not to block it out, but even then, you can tilt the pistol a hair so the sights sight right below the dot. Take that creature off the Browning dude before somebody sees you.

@@armedfarm3429 People like yourself are the greatest part of the gun community you know that? The expert gate keepers of the gun community who insult others based on nothing but opinion. So now I have to spend 500 instead of 80$ based on nothing but a randoms opinion on the internet because you still haven't mentioned any impractical problems with my current set up. Now, I was a novice when I made this video, still kinda am but I'd say I now have more skills than the average novice but I'm genuinely trying to learn here so perhaps you can help me out. You keep saying "AR style optic". Is there a universal gun to optic dictionary you can link me to so I don't make this mistake in the future. By your logic the 507 is a pistol optic? So Im assuming you go on videos of people putting them on AR's on a riser or offset idiots to right? Im planning to put an optic on my shotgun can you direct me to shotgun optics so people don't think I'm an idiot when they see me? Also, Browning put a full rail on this gun just to only use micro red dots? why not just mill the top so a micro can sit below the rear sights? Why does Browning dot com sell this: Buck Mark - Medallion Rosewood - Vortex Red Dot with the exact same "AR Style" optic without a riser if Im the idiot for using the same style optic? Also, scopes are "rifle optics" by your logic Im assuming. Why am I seeing people with rifle optics on their buck marks? Is the inventor of the pistol scope an idiot for creating a rifle optic that can be used on pistols? Lastly, if you could send me a link to a forum post or video of someone slapping on a micro red dot on a buck mark and cowitnessing it with both rear and front sights I'd be interested in seeing it. Because when I google buck mark cowitness, a lot of people don't provide a plug and play option and many use the same style optic Im using. This: Buck Mark Lite Competition Suppressor Ready Red Dot shows that to co witness you would need a milled lower portion where the red dot can slide into. The base you mount the red dot onto to attach it onto a pic rail usually blocks off the rear sight. Perhaps maybe not if you move and tilt like you were saying there, im not saying your wrong, just that I would appreciate if you like made a video or linked me to a clear example. Thanks.

@@killshotcanuck I don't think you should own a gun of any flavor. I been shooting since 65, you will never reach this age. A scope on a handgun is a LONG EYE Relief scope. DUH HUH. On a rifle it's a short EYE relief, by all means through a rifle scope on yer pistol, LMFAO. There is plenty of people out in the world who can use a RD sight and co-witness their sights without a TV tower on top of their pistol. Which you want on an AR, why you ask, because the stock and riser and in-line on an AR so you want a high sight and also ar have high open sights. If you don't think this uis well known information here in the states, you'd be wrong. Seeing you're from communist Canada so you wouldn't know any of these things, so then don't run videos about what you don't know. Now,Don't make a spectacle
