Is there a link to the project bag written instructions?
Except for the unnecessary music, very annoying in a sewing video 😵💫 the rest is good
I love your method for installing the zipper!

I am so thankful to you for making this video! I am a novice at sewing, and wanted to sew a vinyl project bag for years, but was very intimidated. Your video is perfect! You are a great teacher! I purchased your pdf pattern, watched your video and made a project bag! It’s not perfect, but I love it! Thanks again!

You are so welcome Karen! Thanks for leaving a comment 🤗
505 is a wonderful product. I use it for machine quilting my small projects. My hint is that a little goes a long way. I would use less than half of the amount you sprayed on the project bag. It also lasts on your project for many, many days in case you don't get to it right away.
Hi Cheryl, thank you for sharing your tip about using 505 spray for machine quilting small projects! I agree that it is a wonderful product, and I appreciate your suggestion to use less than the amount I sprayed on the project bag. It's always helpful to know that a little goes a long way, and that the spray can last on the project for many days. Thanks again for your comment and happy quilting!
I made a project bag and also a quilt design board with this self binding technique! You are a great teacher and everything is well explained. Thank you!

This is one of the best tutorials I've seen! You've eased my fear of stitching the vinyl on my machine! 😊 I like the foam idea too! And the self binding is brilliant! Thank you so much❤

Thank you Stacey...love this and going to make this as soon as I purchase zipper and vinyl...amazing job❤⭐🌷
Thanks so much Sherrol! You will love working with vinyl, it is so much fun! 😊
What a wonderful tutorial today Stacey and Niels. Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much Debbie! I hope you have a great weekend too! 😊
I have a 15" quilting rulers, which I worry is going to get a little beat up when I have to use my table. Also, hate to prop it up against anything for fear it may develop a bow or bend in it. I think a large one of the bags may be a good storage place provided I remember to not place anything on top of the bag with the ruler still in it. Thank you for sharing this tutorial 👍🏼
That’s a great idea Virginia to keep them safe. Thanks for watching my video and taking the time to leave a comment 🤗
Excellent tutorial!

Thanks as always Kim! You are the best! 🤗
Hi...love the video. Would this be good to use for travel bag for shampoo, soaps etc?
Thanks so much Barbara! I wonder if it would be a bit flat for those type of items.
Great
Thanks so much for watching my video Jane! I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment 🤗
for me the most challenging part of sewing is cutting the pieces of fabric correctly, is it just me?
Hi! No it can be tricky and takes practice. But it does get easier 🤗
love the video...I really don't want to quilt my bags are their different measurements for non-quilting?
No just follow the instructions and trim as required 🤩
Hi Stacy I think there’s a mistake in the cutting instructions or I am confused. If the vinyl is only cut at 14x14 square as you advise how can the 16inch long zipper strips be attached. Shouldn’t the vinyl be 14x16? Thanks
Hi Diane, the measurements are correct. We cut the excess off the zipper. 🤗
How do you like that left compensating foot?? I thought about getting one.
Game changer. So long as you don't mind to see the stitches on your binding on the front of the quilt. I love it, so much tidier and professional.
You say in the video to use a 14 x 14 piece of vinyl but the written instructions say 14 x 16? Can you clarify please? Thank you! Love your videos!
The video is correct ❤️
what do you recommend to use to mark on fabric. what was that yellow pen you used. does it iron off or wash off?
Hi, I used a chalk pen, you wipe off with damp cloth amzn.to/3w71xgg
You used too much spray glue. All you need is a spot spray here and there. I use 505 all the time but sparingly. Too much glue mucks up your needle unless you use a non-stick needle. Schmetz makes nonstick needles. Lovely project bag. Ill try your method! Thanks.
Thanks for letting me know 🤗
There are many types of soft and stable. Which one do you use? Same with vinyl?
Sorry for taking so long to reply. I used this Soft and Stable ByAnnie amzn.to/3Zf8vKO and vinyl here amzn.to/3PDuJDh
Is there a difference in the foam stablizer? (Thick stablizer)
Sorry for the late reply. Not that I know of, anything will do for this project really just to make it stable. I don’t use it a lot so I’m not an expert on it though 🤗
Stacey what needle are you using?
Just a universal needle! Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment ❤
What type of needle you used and size?
Hi, I just use standard universal needles amzn.to/45GxLMt
Looks a bit fiddly with the fingers.
It is a little fiddly Colleen 😂
