Half of Nicks team were no names and are always at the very bottom of the rankings, I feel like the player balancing on this one wasn’t very balanced

I used to main Funky Kong Spear back in the day; the speed on it was insane, and playing on Automatic was a good way to combat the low drift stat! I've switched to Funky Kong Flame Runner since then after switching to Manual!
I main Birdo or Yoshi Mach Bike, and the Heavy Weight Mii Flamerunner. I use a Mii who is loosely based on a CZcamsr who is a milkbag.
I'd really prefer it if tracks were auto-selected. I feel like these vehicle clan wars don't truly represent one vehicle's strengths versus another because its the same formula every time -- whichever team has the better offroad stat but slower vehicle just picks Shy guy beach, sherbet land, etc., and the other team picks straight, easy tracks that favor the faster, heavier, less maneuverable vehicle.
I think it would be much more interesting to match up against each other on a random sample of courses rather than a super biased sample.
I think we will do a mix in future wars with some randomized to prevent this

unfortunately true, it would be better with host votes on. Host vote causes disconnections however, so I'm assuming that is why it isn't being used. It's a shame because the wars have become formulaic as result. A lot of the same tracks being picked each video because a lot of the vehicles strengths and weaknesses overlap.

It is not. One team got empex and Hafer and Nick got some no name with him. Since when Brodie Wizard Doge or Atomik are scoring points? Never. The teams were unfair
@@mikelegowski6103I was referring to the 27 second advantage Memer had. I agree tbh most of Troy’s teams are highly competitive clan members/time trialers.
@@mikelegowski6103Tbf Brodie scored well this flounderfest, nearly as much as Empex, while he was on the losing team. Even overall I would rank him somewhere in between Hafer and MuchCreepz probably. Anyways, generally spoken you've got a point.
@@simon2043 maybe on this event, but if we look at all the ko, or invitational, he never won or be part of the invitational. Anyway, could be nice if the next one team were equal. Like if Troy got Empex, Nick should have like either Matutino, Spock, Kleen or a player of this level you know

spear heavily outperforms the phantom its not even close, if ya wanted 2 have a more fair match then maybe replacing the spear with the wario bike woulda been good as its also outside drift and has a drift stat of only 3. or the offroader with its drift stat of 2

I find it interesting that a handling-adjacent stat really matters in this game. I’m an 8DX player, where handling and traction just don’t really matter, or at the very least, good combos are going to have enough so that you really don’t have to worry about it at all.
yeah 8DX is pretty much the opposite in terms of stats that matter, the only stat that's important in both games is miniturbo I think, offroad too but in Wii it's honestly more of a gimmick like inside/outside drift rather than an actual stat lol

Outside drift isn’t really bad. It’s worse than inside drift don’t get me wrong, but it’s just the bikes with it have terrible drift stats, phantom is the prime example, so it’s a bit underrated

Put orange my for outside drift bikes. Also if Troy wants a challenge he'll like a mod which can change first race starting positions and try starting in last
Alright fellas, let me read off MarioWiki for your and Troy's vehicles.
The Phantom boasts high weight and especially offroad. However it suffers the worst drift stat out of all vehicles in the entire game. All its other stats are pretty much in the middle, comparable to any Standard Kart or Bike. Its medium-weight counterpart, the Zip Zip, features a similar stat distribution except lower weight. Also, Funky Kong's Phantom makes me crave ice cream for some reason. That part's not on the wiki.
The Spear has the highest base top speed of all bikes in the game, and the second highest of all vehicles, topped only by its kart counterpart, the Jetsetter (by "base top speed" I am excluding wheelies). Its medium and small counterparts are the Sneakster and the Jet Bubble. Like other large vehicles, the Spear's weight is also very good. However, literally all its other stats are poor. Not even average, just poor. I always find it funny how Troy says it has good accel, but no it's not "good" it's just a little better than the Flame Runner lol the Standard Kart L can out-accelerate it. The Spear is called the Torpedo in the PAL regions, which makes it one of the few instances where I prefer a PAL name. Because it sure looks more like a torpedo than a spear.
