Kramnik's 64 game win streak is very interesting indeed.
Unbeaten, not win. But yes, very interesting.. 🤔
how many bathroom breaks did he take in those 64 games
what th- I just watched the Aeldar masterclass and popped over to check out the chess drama, didn't expect to see you guys here 😅 John said he plays some chess, is this John? 😄
Well, World Chess Champion, unlike the streamer
@@inemanjawell, just like the streamer, kramnik was accused of being 'suspicious' by a former world champion 😂😂😂and that's during otb wcc match btw
Hikaru is really rubbing salt into the wound and I love it
Which Hikaru should😂
no one thinks ur funny@@Bassjunkies08
bro think he is hikaru
he even under promote
I found Kramnik’s streak to be very interesting.
😂
Hikaru agrees 1:40
Everyone should find this streak interesting.
This is... interesting
🤣
1:40 "So Kramnik undefeated, VERY INTERESTING" .... I'm dead 🤣🤣🤣
He said it so nonchalantly too
"This also goes to show that even world champions can make serious mistakes" God the passive-aggressive salt is what I live for at this point in chess.
People are never going to let Kramnik live this down. And I love it.
He needs to pay with his own embarrassment and for tying to hurt hikaras rep
He's too deep in the ego trap to ever feel embarrassment @@patogordo1385
yes because if you suck online you adapt and grow, you don’t accuse everyone of cheating and then threaten to sue when people call you silly
Nobody has this figured out. Hickeroo the shrew has repeatedly been a sour loser and claimed cheating. He LOST the lawsuit against Hans Niemann who Kramnik is now coaching. This is all a publicity stunt taking advantage of Hickeroo and his hypocrisy. Meanwhile, Hans has crushed both Zagreb and the London Classic and Hickeroo is too much of a lemon to reference it.
Same 😂
Kramnik with the reputation gambit
That’s actually a pretty good one
And Hikaru responds with reputation gambit accepted, literally does not care line
@@SpookyBoson lmaaaooo
Lol
@@SpookyBoson😂
1:39 "SO KRAMNIK UNDEFEATED VERY INTERESTING "
Ahah I see what you did there
Hikaru really out here dropping bomb after bomb these last couple days. 😂😂 Bro hes dead already.
Now we know where Kramnik's grudge started.
Man, the timing of this video with respect to the news right now is downright delicious!! Go on Hikaru…..
Wait what's the news?
Didn't Hikaru accuse many GM's of cheating?
This is the greatest troll chess video of all time. Thank you Hikaru for this masterpiece of a game and an equally masterful recap.
Kramnik still has knightmares about this game.
Dude beat Kramnik with a horse promotion and it was not even for memes.
Very entertaining to see the young Grand Master Hikaru Nakamura defeat the former world champion Vladimir Kramnick in such an interesting game featuring an underpromotion to a knight that would eventually win the game! This win also ended a very suspect 64 game unbeaten streak for Vladimir. How is it he was able to score on so many consecutive games against so many highly rated Grand Masters? Seems statistically impossible to me. I'm not a professional statistician but I do play chess quite a bit.
broooo i’m dying
We need a statistician to calculate the relative probabilities of Hikaru's 45.5/46 and Kramnik's 64-game unbeaten streaks.
As an aside, is it possible that Kramnik held a grudge against Hikaru ever since this game?
I was thinking the exact same question you are asking
I'll do a few simplifications to make it fit in a comment.
For naka, let's discard the draw and say 45 wins / 45 games against opponents - 350.
At - 350, score chances = 92%
So a 92% chance event to happen 45 consecutive times is at 0.92^45, which results in a 2.3% chance of happening.
For VK, since it's unbeaten which includes draws, these are the assumptions, which are generous. 15% win 80% draw 5% lose. So to not lose = 95%. So 64 consecutive 95% is at 3.8%.
In the overall scheme of things, HNs run is almost guaranteed to happen given the number of games played. As an example, put in 2 red marbles and 98 blue marbles in a bag. The chances of getting red is 2%. But if I ask you to draw from that bag (returning the ball after every draw), I wouldn't bet against you drawing a red ball if you'd draw 500x. In fact it's harder not to draw a red ball during that 500 attempts run.
@@BrennenChuayour calculation is quite wrong since hikaru’s wins are not independent events since he was streaking the same players for many games
@@Muyen462this consideration would just make the final conclusion even stronger, that this is really really not that weird of an occurrence for hikaru
Edit: he'll probably get bigger streaks in the future
@@BrennenChuaundeafted is basically no loses.
If Kramnik is jealous that Hikaru is getting rich by streaming, then milking his bizarre accusation for content must really drive him CrAzY. 😂
You know it's a good Hikaru video when Hikaru is in the video
Hikaru in a Hikaru video? Interesting...
Interesting… Is that allowed?
its a statistical anomaly for sure that Hikaru is in *100%* of Hikaru videos
hikaru never fails to be in a good hikaru video when he's in a good hikaru video
Kramnik streak is "very interesting" got me lol 😂💀
Kramnik dug his own grave. We will be happy to remind him until he uses said grave.
“Overly optimistic” 😭😭😭😭 bro called Kramnik arrogant in such a roundabout way 😭
Kramnik gave hikaru a very lucrative christmas present... such a nice guy 😅
Hikaru rolling in the cash of Kramnik's tears.
“… is interesting” is the evolution of “…speaks for itself” and I’m all for it
"Kramnik undefeated, very interesting." 😂😂😂
"kramnik undefeated, very interesting." LOL
Kramnik the Titanic, just sailing along until he spots the Hikaru iceberg... Hmmm, that tiny bit of ice looks interesting... I'll have a crack at trying to break through it... How's that going for you now Dipstick?
Such interesting and statistical play from Hikaru.
We should look into this more 😅
At this point, Hikaru should be thanking Kramnik for the accusations. It's given him lots of content
Yeah Hikaru just came off a really nice run of views for his overseas tournaments and his views were dropping when this hot bag of drama goodness landed in his lap. Hikaru laughing all the way to the bank!
Tru tru but he did get disrespected
Kramnik did not accuse Hikaru. He's said it several times
@@HopeGrasser LOL wut? Kramnik legit accused him. And then like a pussy tried to pretend he didn;t
@@HopeGrasseryes he did
And it was in this position that Kramnik resigned.
1:40 was such a stab in kramnik’s direction! Love it😂❤
That under-promotion to a knight was insane !!!
That’s actually a really cool endgame with 2 knights and a bishop vs an opposite colored bishop. Pretty technical stuff
Very interesting
We’d all go nuts trying to win that.
@@RMF49 Would most likely 50 move rule if no one offered a draw.
Kramnik should receive a "Chess Content Creator of the Year" award.
damn no wonder kramnik is so mad. he is holding a grudge for 10+ years after this beatdown. nice job.
proud of you for playing for the team!! woulda been happy for you to get a individual gold too. when is the next olympiad? who would be on it? fabi, you, so, dominguez? danya as alternate lol
the first two minutes of this are unreal 🤣
Hikaru ending Kramnik's streak would be reason enough to show this, but it's actually a really cool game in its own right, especially the ending.
64 game unbeaten streak?!?! Against the best in the world? Interesting. Really interesting.
"Kramink undefeated very intersting" lmao
This game streaks for it self
The Hikaru speaks for itself
17:06 OMG! I imagine Kramniks face at that moment.... and probably "crowds go wind!"
That damn smile at the end. Hikaru is absolutely milking this and I'm all for it.
Mating with K + N + N + B vs K + B is a fantastically humiliating end to an interesting 64 game streak by Vladmir "toilet-gate" Kramnik.
"11 years, still hurts."
-Kramnik
very instructive set of matte patterns with the knights. Beautiful game.
Hikaru has been putting on a masterclass while showing how to properly handle unfounded accusations.
Early on Hikaru made it clear he had the platform to do it and he's not disappointed. 😂
"kramnik undeafed , very interesting" 😂😂😂
Also, you got my fully respect Hikaru. Keep up the great work!
It's great to just choose a game completely at random from your long career and talk us through it.
It is a very good win and great explanations. For me the ending is really interesting, in my head I think a minor piece is a huge advantage, and then I paused the video and looked at the board, and really did not know how I would continue! Going away now to do some exercises with knights and bishops!
“Kramnik undefeated, very interesting”; troll level infinity.
Dude, the quiet underpromotion to a knight. Madre deus, so brilliant. Only winning move.
6:14 Hikaru plays knight to b1 declining draw.
Kramnik: Interesting.
Need more of your impactful games like this love it
64 game streak?!! Interesting....
What makes Hikaru the best youtuber/streamer is that he knows what the rest of us can't see. Thanks for consistently giving the best analysis!
He makes chess seem easy.
I found Kramnik's streak to be very interesting.
Kramnik: some of us shouldn't have to take this workshop, because some of us are just victims in this situation.
Hikaru: how many of you have ever felt personally victimized by Vladimir Kramnik?
- everyone raises their hands -
The serious to instant overly happy always gets me 😂😂
Its getting personal, i love it!
That game was awesome, great analysis as always
A 64 game win streak against some of the world's strongest players?.. interesting
Awesome Hikaru ….. and thank you for the analysis/ tutorial
The doping test in the end lmaoo 🤣
The endgame is so tricky. bishop+2 knight vs biship+pawn, although is a theoretical win, seems to be much more complex than knight+bishop mate. Hard to imagine how to win this by myself.
Kramnik getting his 2012 flashbacks 😂😭
We have found the motive for defame hit job which backfired spectacularly 🤣
"Hikaru used beads for this game" -Vladmir Kramnik
Underpromotion to knight and victory: this does warrant eternal hatred. 😂
I'm not sure if the game is better or the roast of Kramnik. Both very good.
Good match to review 😛
There are sooo many interesting moments in this game. Honestly it deserves to be studied as one of the chess classics IMO.
Hikaru never fails to stare at you in the beginning.
i remember seeing this game on kingscrusher's channel years ago when i started playing chess again. Nb1, a very distinct move.
this has always been an interesting game to me. i've studied it many times.
The level of trolling in this video is impressive. Meta levels of trolling, well done.
Kramnik should analyze his 64 game wining streak in the olmpiad that sounds much more significant.
I’m mind blown how good Hikarus memory is to play back the replay for us
I´m a fan. I also know a thing or two about audio. If you have mic closer and lower gain a bit you will get much better quality (less roomy). Adding an audio compressor with a vocal setting will also help a dynamic speaker like Hikaru. /m
Worth to mention Kramnik played on even when mate was unstoppable because there was still the chance, as briefly demonstrated, that he could lure Hikaru into a stalemate trap. If a move that looks natural and winning is a stalemate blunder, it's worth baiting it. He resigned only when Hikaru avoided the stalemate trap.
Wow what a beautiful end game
18:25 Notice how the evaluation goes from 2.2 to 43! Insane! That's what I call the Hikaru effect!
Sort of reminds me of the game where Fischer comes in a minute before the deadline and his opponent couldn’t adjust to having to actually now play and lost when naka declined the 3 fold repetition from a inferior position forcing kramnik to play on.
Hikaru sounds more and more like a teacher the longer he creates content
Incredible. GG Hikaru!
Thank you for bringing such an interesting match to our attention.
Hikaru is a National treasure
This explains everything
Great video, impressive endgame!
13:35 after bishop to f4, its “uh oh spaghetti-o time” 😂😂😂
This game is incredible. Hikaru has phenomenal insight.
What a beautiful endgame
Man I feel an enormous amount of satisfaction.
wow, that underpromotion was brilliant!
“Kramnik undefeated, very interesting” 🤣🤣🤣.
Kramnik is kicking the air rn😂
Showing this game now after the kramnik controversy, you're petty Hikaru. I like it. 😂
a series where u recap memorable over the board games would be sick
Horse in the thumbnail - perfect! :)
👽 welcome back....todaaaaaays video .....what the hell was Hikaru's intro though 😂😂😂
Kramnik: "... and I took that personally"
