- Going old school! . We've got a Galant VR4 in at the moment for a light restoration. There's a few years of use and abuse to reverse and get this early Group A machine ready to hit the stages.

I love this!!
Great video, this Vr4 was a factory race car from new with very low vin number. Very well used with very successful history. We won 7 events in it 2020 & 2021. Wasn’t a Ralliart built car, just cage.
Rear dms just rebuilt but MCA (Murray Coote)
It’s still running 34mm restrictor with 170kw so new ecu, 36mm & e85 would liven it up

@@rallyactionwa I just noticed rose jointed trailing arms as well. Sneaky little bits in there.
@@race-partners The arms were in the car when we got it. They are permitted and in good shape so we've left them in.

I love this builds where underrated cars get some love.........by the way my dream car is an 8th gen Galant vr4 i hope they don't go so much high in price in the future

Great video, thanks for taking the time. Are you keeping the DMS suspension, have you checked with them to see if that series is still supported?
The DMS will stay in the car. If needed it could be rebuilt again without too much drama.
If this car worked well then got a transmission served and now only goes in reverse now ill not burnt what do I look to fix it
