    I have all 3 system at home and generally build alternatively with one or another. PF element are use for functionnal tests only. Buwizz is by far my favourite one for 1 to 4 function, it powerful, precise, easy to use. For larger construction or more technical one (with the use of programmed function for example) I will use the SBrick, but, in my opinion the creation of custom profile that requires to use a computer is not easy enough.

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  Před 5 lety +1

      I agree it might not be that convenient since you have to use the computer, but actually it's better to use the customisation options on a bigger interface I think. It would be pretty difficult to add custom graphic elements on a mobile.

    Is there a way to provide more power to the motors like Buwizz does, but with SBrick (or maybe even with normal PF)? I love the power it can give but I don't think I can dish out the money for a Buwizz :( Great video though it gives helpful info!

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  Před 5 lety

      PF IR won't be able to handle too much. SBrick can take quite a lot, up to around 11V. There are several options to power it but most of them includes certain level of hacking, like using 2s/3s lipo batteries or similar. I'm testing a solution now that can work without any modification and still provides a fair amount of power, will share the details soon :)

      @@RacingBrick That makes sense 😂 I'm thinking about buying buwizz but it's too expensive for me now. I firstly need to buy pieces.
      I have a question: the new sets are going to use the new power up system instead of power functions. Should I buy the new sets with the new system or should I only buy power functions?
      This is my biggest question right now because the new system doesn't give us any advantage and the connections are different.

      I can tell you the same that I wrote at the end of the video. If you already have PF motors and you are not interested in the new interactive and programming features of Powered Up then you can stick to Power Functions. Hi, i wanted to ask your opinion, if buwizz or s brick or fake lego receiver is the same by you or not ? They all not lego.
    They all get in under the same category ?

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  Před 2 lety +1

      Well, if an electronic product is not "fake" in a way that it's a direct copy that wants you believe it is LEGO when it isn't, then I'm fine with it. BuWizz or SBrick have a reputation becuase their products have a constant quality level, they have EU customer support and so on. Chinese Power Functions clones might be also good but it's difficult to identify the brands, their quality might vary and it's a challenge to buy the same thing twice.

      I plan to take the speed record. With 7.4v lipo and fake recievers.
      I found it more close to lego then others that use 12.5v and mobile - that sertenly not ment for lego, by lego company. They not work with collaboration there... Even oposite.
      What you think about it ?
      I get your point that this buwizz and s-brick are new product, and not try, of copy other. It is surely totaly different quality and all, no doubt about it.

      I got 2 advantages and 2 disadvantages compare to buwizz or s-brick.
      I wont rich shutdown protection even when the motors got fuse for that, i start full power 100% with on-off remote. 2 like you said, 4 ir and lipo weight much less then 2 buwizz.
