    Here a small video on how to install the Evotech Racing clear clutch cover on the new 2020 KTM Super Duke R.

    Im intrigued as to what the steel bits are in the original cover !. Looks like a thrust button in the middle of it. The Evotech one looks excellent.

      Is this clear clutch cover the same part number as the 2019 1290R? They do not have a 2020 model on their website, so I'm confused on if it will work because they do have other 2020 model Ktm's listed but not the R model. I wonder if it's different because the cases are thinner now.

    Congratulations, Excellent video friend and that machine looks much more beautiful, I would like to know if it is necessary to take out the engine oil to be able to install this accessory.

      Thank you very much 😁 You dont need to drain the oil 😁 If you park the bike on something higher (wood as in my vid) so it tilts more over on its kickstand there will not come any oil out 😁 Hope that helps 😁

      Mike Delval I did love the clear cover on my Ducati Hupermotard , suited it really good. Not sure i want one on my Ktm. Awesome machine that 2020 by the way. Can’t buy one cause my brain can’t be normal on that bike 😂🙈

      Mike Delval Don’t be , i’m pooping my pants next 2 weeks. I got my picture taken last week on Monday by the cops with the GT. I pulled a 3rd gear stand up wheelies over a long stupid speed bump! But you know a 1290 so you know how fast it goes. I didn’t see a speed camera until my buddy yelled at me through our intercom 😂. But it was way to late , was doing 100 in a 30 zone! It was just a small twist on the throttle. Might lose my license for a month 🙈

      I used a little Beta torque wrench, but any little torque wrench will do the job just nicely 😁

    I purchased full Akrapovic exhaust system and Lithium battery, weight saving almost 15 Kg. Totally waken the Beast up. Is it faster with the see-through clutch cover? Lol looks good 👌

      So are U running the Akra map? If so, is it true U have to disconnect your indicators before starting the bike?

      @@DamTheDane Correct, but you can install a relay box which will negate this. I have this done on my '20 Superduke. Easy google search will give you everything you need.

    Dam thank you for the great install video. I have been looking online for that same cover. I can’t any that say that it’s specifically for the 2020 model. Will the one for the 2019 fit? Thank you

    have you experienced any issues with the spring plate cover or any operational issues? I saw another guy who posted a video and he had to go back to the stock plate with the clear cover. Thanks for your help

    Hi Dan, i just instaled this clutch cover and i have like white substance on that glas!! Do you have a same problem? It doesn’t look nice at all

      That is all normal 😁 It does the same on the oem cover, you just cant see it 😅
      Give it a good 30min ride and it should clear up, but it will come back next time you go for a ride. It all normal 😁

      The only way to not get the White crap, is having a dry clutch I think 😅

      When you don't ride them long enough and the oil temp doesn't get over 80°c you'll get condensation. If the ambient temp is less than the internals you'll be drawing in moisture when it cools down.
      These bikes need to be ridden, Not just shorts trips around town. Have fun gents

      It can seem to big. But make sure to press it in and not stretch it while you do it 😁

      @@DamTheDane I think it’s when it meets itself. It just is to long. So I undid a bit at a time. Then fed it back into the groove until it was no longer to long 😊 seems to fit pretty good now!

      When you install it, be carefull that you dont strech it when putting the o-ring in the cover 😊 It should fit perfectly 😊

      Not needed if you place the wheels on a piece of 2by4 so it tilts more to the side 😊

      No but I placed the bike on a piece of 2by4 to make the bike tilt a bit more 😁

      Take it a part again and make sure the springs are seatet correctly in the pressureplate 😊

      Fixed it 🔥🔥🔥 metal disk was backwards 🤦🏽‍♂️ but no i get a milky oil all over the glass

      Mine also got milky, but after a 30 minut ride it clears up 😊
      Depending on how humid your climat is where you live, it will get milky everytime you go for a ride, but clears up ones the engine gets nice and hot 😊

    Personally I rather purchase a proper steering dampener the oem is useless. Going try drill tap put thicker oil. I refuse make KTM richer they should of put the Wp dampener. Looking good though. When I can afford it carbon rims, but company in USA Apex 6 make forged aluminium at half price of carbon. At nearly same weight. Call them or email ask them make them if enough ask they'll make them.
