It's an amazing tribute video...I must have watched it 10 times already. Halit Ergenc is an amazing actor (as were both 'Hurrem' and the whole cast in general, of course). But the way, he played Suleyman from a virile young man to old patriarch is incredibly impressive. Every look, every gesture, touches your heart - even though the character he played, wasn't always the most symphatetic, of course. But in this moment, anyone who has ever deeply loved (and lost) someone, can't help feeling his pain.

Which I feel I have and have had (for the most part) all my life. I've had both advantages and disadvantages due to being a woman...it pretty much equals out, as far as I'm concerned. Life is hard enough as it is. Men and women need to work together and support each other, not be at each other's throat constantly. Otherwise everyone is unhappy. The Khorram sultan did so many bad things behind his back, then with a love letter got away with it. The king too after marrying her, how many young girls he had? True love ha? Look at everything he did to two of his own sons who brave sons who would have been better kings and had taken the world to a better place. Then killing their innocent children, his own grand children . War? Attaching people at their country killing them and taking over their countries. Also taking their women and young girls and raping them. Who do you think all the women in his haram were? These were wives and daughters of the people they had conquered What is all this? Love?

It's an amazing tribute video...I must have watched it 10 times already. Halit Ergenc is an amazing actor (as were both 'Hurrem' and the whole cast in general, of course). But the way, he played Suleyman from a virile young man to old patriarch is incredibly impressive. Every look, every gesture, touches your heart - even though the character he played, wasn't always the most symphatetic, of course.
But in this moment, anyone who has ever deeply loved (and lost) someone, can't help feeling his pain.

I believe in equal rights and equal opportunities for women (as well as equal or comparable responsibilities).
Which I feel I have and have had (for the most part) all my life. I've had both advantages and disadvantages due to being a woman...it pretty much equals out, as far as I'm concerned.
Life is hard enough as it is. Men and women need to work together and support each other, not be at each other's throat constantly. Otherwise everyone is unhappy. And most of all the kids, which is an unmeasurable tragedy.

Este edit lo encontré hace 4 o 5 años, aún así lo sigo viendo. Me gusta mucho, la canción habla de ese miedo a que nos sigan queriendo a pesar de los años, de envejecer. Y poner escenas de ambas actrices fue muy bueno, como el amor de ellos siguió incluso cuando Suleyman tenía un harén lleno de mujeres jóvenes, el volvía a su amada Hurrem, esa que lo conquistó con su alegría.

And loved her loyalty n the pure love to him Although suleiman kept betraying with other slaves Although it was the rule or the culture to be followed. Hurrem never seen any other man except for him n his love . How wonderful is that. And suleiman had only one person to turn back every time he was let down.
Hurem and Sulayman was the best. Watch their video clips with this kind of song just gave me the goosebumps and overwhelmed feeling like i'm watching Titanic movie. All the actors in this show really killed it. They're all awesome. I'm a Hurem supporter from the beginning of this show.
When he sees her on the terrace and she smiles brightly, his reaction makes my heart sink, such a good show. Only season 1 is on Netflix and they're taking it off soon. I wonder if there are any other sources i can watch the rest on that have English subs.
