Efsun dies in Prince Mustafa's arms. Efsun confesses that she poisoned the prince with Hurrem's order in her last words. As the prince and Mahidevran learns that, they don't hesitate to tell this to Sultan Suleiman.
Sultan Suleiman doens't want to believe what was told about Hurrem. However, the crime that Hurrem has committed has a big punishment. Will Hurrem drink the poison for Sultan Suleiman?
The Sultana finds out that her daughter has doubts about Ibrahim. She personally gets involved in that to prevent Hatice to get hurt. Nigar who doesn't know about the situation faces with an unexpected surprise.
Daye kicks the midwife who causes Efsun's death out of the palace. Gulsah makes an offer to the midwife who is stuck in a difficult situation that she can't reject. Daye becomes the victim of an evil plan.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

This is the scene that defined the future of the dinasty. The scene that Suleiman realised that the most loyal person to him was Hurrem. When Hurrem declared that she doesn’t care about a future that Suleiman isn’t in it ,it was all over. Hurrem acted smart, because no matter what, a ruler doesn’t need people who correct him and doubt him but people who agree and worship him, Hurrem did that. From this scene forward, no matter what crime Hurrem would commit, i knew she would be protected by Suleiman, because she was a reflection of him. That’s why people started hating her, messing with Hurrem was like messing with Suleiman himself, it was impossible. She won his heart, she lived inside him, but by doing that, Suleiman never knew that later she would be able to dictate and control his actions. Hurrem ruled everything!

And not only this. Suleiman strongly believed that people in last moments speak only true. And she warned him about cruelty of Ibrahim and Mahidevran.
2 closest persons to oldest prince.
Firs time his face changes - he saw it is not only jealousy between them, but fear for her kids. After this he start to look more carefuly to Ibrahim and also to his relation with prince Mostafa which he liked before. This is moment that changes everything. And actually Hurem didn't have what to loose. If she refused poison she would lost his trust. This willl lead to her end. She recognize that, Ibrahim didn't. He believed Sultan would never hurt him , becouse he was too much important. But sharp mind of queen understood this in 1 second , she did smart choice to take back trust which means to keep his love even if this means to die immidiatelly - but loved. Not like Ibrahim died- without even graveyard after all they went through. He didn't recognize what is going on in Sultans mind all year before he finally killed him.

The part that makes this scene so painful to watch is that Hurrem has no idea that vial was a sedative. As she grew more and more tired, she thought that sensation was death. I can only imagine her fear and panic. The actress does an amazing job of showing that.

Mustafa is much smarter than his mother, playing the long game. He set out to win the hearts of Hurrem's sons and he did. And he grew to truly care for his brothers. In the end, Hurrem wished he had been her son as well so they wouldn't have been at odds with each other. (And before anyone complains, I'm commenting on the show, not history.)

Notice how when Suleiman allows her to make a wish, Hurrem simply asks for a hug. She had the chance to ask for something grand, but she again reassures him of her love and loyalty by asking for nothing but his affection. This ensures Suleiman will never be able to trust anyone as he trusts Hurrem. Every time he considers cutting her lose, this moment will rescue Hurrem every time.

I think this is the point of the show where Suleiman develops his full trust in Hurrem. This act of love and utter devotion is the moment where he realizes Hurrem is his one and only. All the time before this scene it was a he said she said and Suleiman felt it necessary to come to Hurrem's defense purely out of love. I'm sure he was wondering uo until that point whether Hurrem could be trusted or if she was just like the others, cunning and manipulative. The test proved to him that was not the case. Her drinking the poison is, in my mind, the exact moment where Suleiman learns to trust Hurrem once and for all. And that trust doesn't ever go away from beyond this point until he dies

If I were Suleiman, I'd have been more than a little interested in the fact that aside from asking him to protect their children from Mahidevran, who most certainly would have had them killed once Suleiman died, she wanted him to protect their children from Ibrahim. I mean, these are, so far as she believes, her dying words. She obviously chose them to be meaningful. Suleiman expected to hear that she considered Mahidevran a threat, I'm sure, but Ibrahim? That would have sent alarm bells going off in my head if it were me.

I had the same thought when watching it for the first time. Like, sure, okay, this couldn't be used to bring about Ibrahim's end yet as it'd be significantly ahead of schedule, but it's odd that it just never comes up again at all. Even when Suleiman is remembering all of the reasons he has to be suspicious of Ibrahim, it's never brought up. Which, given how, by now Suleiman's had dreams/nightmares of Mustafa becoming sultan with Ibrahim almost controlling him, it seems like a wasted opportunity not to pursue the affect this'd have.

Looks like Suleiman was really smart doing that poison test. He was trying to see if Hurrem actually tried to kill Mustafa to help her own kids become Sultan. By asking Hurrem to drink the 'poison', he was not only testing her loyalty to him but also proving that she values nothing, not even her own children, over him. So, when she drank it, she cleared herself of the poisoning plot against Mustafa. Even though she actually planned to poison the prince, it's her love and loyalty for Suleiman that saved her.

15:27 Then people say Mustafa was innocent, that he never did anything evil. He used his brothers in a dirty play against Hurrem and denied the fact that Mahidevran wanted to execute them during Suleiman’s coma. If he truly loved them, he wouldn’t have used little children. Your mother didn’t suffer Mustafa, she was never banished nor punished for what she did, she pushed your father away with her own actions. Delude yourself that Hurrem is the villain when you made an enemy of her yourself, by declaring war on her and mentioning her children. Keep ignoring what your snake mother did like the beating and poisoning. Mustafa simps are delusional for pretending that he was an angel instead of a biased momma’s boy.

Hers always look/looked like someone who order a cheap costume to play dress up as a lady from this era, whereas everyone else (the women) always looked so much more regal & like their outfits were far more expensive. Totally off topic I know, but it’s rather evident here between her & Mahidevran.

If the matter is about worshipping him with no objection in Suleiman's godship then Mustafa was a single angel in there with no doubt... Hurrem engulfed that liquid when she were bottlenecked and had no choice left. She the stubborn and strong headed woman... Was she comparable to Shahzady Mustafa?!!! Never!!! Its just sleak to compare Hurram with Suleiman's own blood but he unfortunate king was just the slave of his heart, A Russian concubine... And that lead to a ultimate disaster of his magnificence...

Such mischiefs were common for her to do, and EVERYTIME she got away with it. The only gud thing about her is her loyalty to the Sultan. It's true, and the ONLY POSITIVE SIDE OF HERS. People say she was strong, indeed she was. She was a strong snake. By harming others for nothing, she became strong 👏👏

All of the relationships are unhealthy, they’re between masters and slaves. Hatice and Ibrahim with the cheating, Ibrahim and Nigar - a relationship im that existed only because Ibrahim wanted to be with someone inferior due to his ego yikes, Mustafa and his 35 (slave) gfs. All relationships are very toxic in the show.
