“History of Tragedy” is really the best way to describe that period when Suleiman was the Sultan. This video was amazing and it shows how much pain and sorrow there was during the whole series! And I think the series itself was just so good that I can’t stop rewatching it ! Truly the best show in the world 🤍

No doubt Ottoman Empire reached its peak during the reign of Suleiman but it was his rule too during which their downfall began. And the event which marked the empire's downfall was Mustafa's death. He was undoubtedly the most deserving and perfect candidate for becoming a king. But again Suleiman's love and extreme trust for Hurrem cost the empire their future.
