Fable TLC -- How much damage can you take in a single hit?

So with a combination of Divine Fury (which lowers your Toughness Value), Berserk, which also lowers Toughness, a level 0 Toughness stat, and no armor being worn, a hit from Dragon Jack (the highest damaging enemy in the game) can do 1900 damage.
Also featured is some weird unknown entities I killed for exp, but do not show up under creatures killed...

one other thing I wonder is if drinking those health improvement potions after you've reached level 7 Vitality do anything?

Drinking them will still have some effect, but only to an extent (with max Health, 4 Elixirs of Life are enough to reach the cap). They both work together though - you can't max out your health with just upgrading the stat, and similarly using just Elixirs of Life won't allow you to hit the max health. In the video, I've used both the Elixirs of Life, as well as having the Health upgrades maxed out.
