The Scariest Haka Response Ever!
Vložit
- čas přidán 17. 12. 2022
- Sebastien Chabal always made an impact on the rugby pitch. His response to the All Blacks Haka at the quarter final of the Rugby World Cup 2007 is one of the most memorable scenes of the recent Rugby World Cups. Would this be the scariest Haka response ever in the RWC history?

Chabal, what an absolute beast of a man he was! So underrated half his career 🔥
sad he never won one. hopefully he can see them win one.
@@andrewa6786 he literaly destroyed the "all blacks" so many times. There was blood on each encounter! 😅😊...Chabal is a monster!
I laughed the first time I heard someone say rugby was rougher that american football. After watching some rugby, I totally agree.
Wait until you hear about hurling. It was literally used as an alternative to war about 1000 years ago. The saying is "you know they're a good hurler if they don't have any teeth left"
They are closer to actual warrior sports besides full on combat competition.
Rugby, hurling and gaelic football.
The main difference is in American football you can tackle off the ball so you get hit more. Both are great sports, American Football comes from Rugby after all...
Tbh all Americans think that football is the worst it gets, but come over to Gaa on a Saturday morning and watch some training, you will probraly change your mind
Typical American behaviour
Chabal walks in my direction, I cross the street.
Goose bumps when the French took their vests off, revealing the French flag as they marched in unison towards the halfway line to stand tall in front of the Haka!
After this challenge, the rules were changed to keep opposing teams away from the Haka. Shame in my opinion. As far as I know New Zealanders love it when teams answer their challenge and moments like this will not be seen again under the current rules.
ARE WE NOT GONNA MENTION HOW MUCH OF A BEAST CHABAL WAS THAT HE LIFTED A GROWN MAN LIKE HE LIKE HE LIFTING A BABY 👀👀
Sébastien Chabal - my favourite ever French player and a credit to the country.
Chabal was scarier than the Haka (which is impressive).
lol he joins in the haka lol ...he's like Mountain Man Avalance lol
Hahaah, that was intense. Chabal was so hyped.
The 14 other French player are here to stop Chabal to cross the line and kick a.. Love this channel, always love to see great players but for some with a bit af sadness, Lomu for example. Regards from France
Absorbing that energy from the Haka! Game on! 🤗
They gave them the haka challenge, French Conan gave them the brain damage challenge.
As an Englishman obviously I find it hard so say good things about the French, but this was an epic challenge.
We appreciate Mate ❤ good Luck for the rest of the compétition, may the best team win anyway
Silly man.
As an englishman I find it hard to say anything good about the English, the French though I have a lot of respect for
Another sheep programmed to hate another country. Have they effected you personally? Or have you been told to hate the French all your life. Either way its pathetic.
I am Spanish, and most of us hate France to death, but in rugby they are loved. Chabal is incredible, he spreads his spirit to the entire team
That death stare 🔥🔥
I'm a Kiwi but I love the French spirit!
What a beast Chabal was. I like how he seemed to have fed off moments like these.
i would be more scared of chabal then the haka
Wow! Love it!!! I wish I'd seen it live!
How can you not get pumped after something like this
I like the bit where the normal sized man roughs up chabals head, so chabal just picks him up.
Naughty little bleeder.
Everybody responds to the Haka in the same way trying to give the death stare but The best response to a Haka should be the whole team pretending to sleep while the other team is performing the Haka.
No, there is a big respect in the Rugby world and the Haka is for everyone a respectful dance.
haka is a very very stupid thing to do , it should be responded with another idiotic thing
Or turn their backs on the ABs whilst they are doing their cute dance.
The Haka is a mark of respect in New-Zaeland, a welcome by displaying it's warrior spirit in a sence. It's not for intimidation sake it's for greeting and a proof of esteem.
That was a good match from Chabal
But the real MVP was Dusautoir
This guy has no fear
Beautiful
The eye contact.... This is w@r
When the French are good, they're good.
"Scariest haka response ever"
*Happy rock music in the background*
Dude at the end just pulles that guy up like feather. Thats some good adrenaline rush going there 😂 these guys are crazy
Mountain Man loves the HAKA
I am Spanish, and most of us hate France to death, but in rugby they are loved. Chabal is incredible, he spreads his spirit to the entire team
Chabal: "Nice dance number 9, I shall eat your liver first."
Literally makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up
Bravo Chabal! Bravo Les Francais! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
Il était magnifique !
Sebastien Chabal DEFINES RESPECT!!! Reminds me of the IMMORTAL one.
Wait, has it already begun?
What a beast!!!
Real life Sandor Clegane
Would've been better if you added thr final moments of the match.
What a machine Chabal was
"Bodies on top of bodies it's as if they we're cuddling" -Remble
Chabal the best !!!
A por todas
Hmmmm Chabaaaal
Big french dude in red ready for war at the drop of a hat 👏
Probably the first time that in the eyes of some New Zealand players, you can read doubt during the haka.
No
that guy with long hair...is like URUK-HAI
I thought following the Hewitt-Cockerill incident, there had to be a mandated distance between the two teams?
This was back in 2007. I believe France got fined. Not that they cared. They still won.
@@agonsfitness7308 Yes! I believe the team performing could stand on half way at that point. After this they changed it to the 10m line for both teams.
CHAAAABAL !!
For me, someone who isn't a big rugby fan, but respects the history and the players! This haka nonsense is just so stupid, childish, in fact it's the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever seen. I would be embarrassed if I had to do that!
Agree. Respect it being tradition and all that but find it extremely stupid. It would make me want to beat the other team even more if anything..
@@Lamafiasiberianait’s more of an offering of a challenge as a mark of respect
i find standing in a line and singing a little song about the monarchy to be incredibly stupid and childish but if others want to do it then so what… different cultures have different ways that’s all lmao
That dude is masdive
Capt. Caaaaaavvvveeemaaaan
brrr spoopy response
Oh, Dave Grohl plays rugby for the French, has the man no end to his talents ;)
hahahaa never forgot this game
AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!
The nearest thing to unarmed combat!
Who won?
I'm America, we call this backyard football.
Remember when chabel cried
The French are Celtic Warriors of old Gaul. Having battled the might of Caesar's Roman Legions, no Haka will ever phase them.
That
Scariest ever???
Back when the French could win a quarter final ...
من ليس له ماضي لا يعلم ماذا تعني هذه الرقصه
There’s no protection, that’s what makes it dangerous
CAVE MAN Chabal massive he broke Ali Wiliams Jaw
it's a bloody joke how World Rugby make the teams stand 20 meters apart. this will never happen again because of those old farts wearing blazers in rugby HQ
😊
Anybody answer why the all blacks don’t say all the words during haka?
Who listens to the words anyway? A bunch of babbles, not to be taken seriously.
@@dougerrohmer a bunch of babble? No it tells the story of a Maori chief who escaped death. Where are you from?
I thought the ABs had used different hakas over the years?
@@stewartellinson8846 all blacks have used two different haka over the years. The one they’re doing in this clip is ka mate, and pretty much all of New Zealand knows it. They don’t say all the words. I’m thinking they’re just saving breath to keep the same energy. The other haka they do, kapa o pango was specifically made for them, they only perform when they’re facing the toughest competition
@@stewartellinson8846 They do go through phases, each haka lamer than the next. 🙂
The fact they changed the rules aftwr the match to pander to a few snowflakes who feel offended that the French had the audacity to challenge the Haka instead of stand in silence and "respecfully" watch is crazy. I'm sure the NZ players relished the French response.
the Haka always makes me laugh it's as scary as an ogre in a fairy story.
et paf le 10
Why is folk dancing a thing before a rugby match?
*The Scariest Haka Response Ever!*
Colonizers: am I a joke to you?
My god the French rugby team look totally different then their Soccer/Football team who just lost the World Cup. The Soccer/Football team look like they came from other continent.
Haka is cringe
i thought I was the only one thinking that 😆
Worst kiwi strip ever
Not as scary as what the refs did to the All Blacks later in the game.
Just learning of this guy Chabal, but he looks like what Vercingetorix of Gaul would look like.
I'm surprised the French team was able to hold their laughter at this nonsense.
they think people should be afraid of these stupid dances
@@johnhoward8362, yeah.
so they can do all haka and intimidate rival team, but if the rival team response to them, it's labelled bigots, racists, and disrespectful against Maori culture? what a rubbish politic
Haka is the cringiest thing I have ever seen on internet , like they just trolling their own culture everywhere, like if someone is having constipation , then they will do haka to make him proud that u can do your poo easily 🤣.
God the haka is so lame 😂
who is the troglodyte?
nothing Scariest here.... just some guys dancing and playing theatre.
i Know it’s cultural I respect it but omgggg it’s sooo cringe …
For years the ABs and France played in their traditional colours and there was no issue. Suddenly they get to this world cup and the French complain forcing the the All Blacks to abandon their traditional black strip . It was a ploy like referring to the ABs as NZ because it was less intimidating . The irony is that they played in that strip the week before against the Scots who had a similar multi strip and it was a sheer nightmare to tell the teams apart.
The ploy worked though and the French won a famous victory helped immensely by a myopic Wayne Barnes. Typical of the French, they went out meekly against an average English team the following game.
This might honestly be the single most cringe inducing video on youtube
This was about as scary as my freshly shaved gooch
I'm not afraid of him, this is Texas, we open carry
Nepali 🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥
No, it was the stupidiest response ever
