Honestly as a Māori Wahine ( female ), the best Haka are the ones that come from the heart, the ones done with so much mana and pride. The most thrilling ones that I’ve experienced are either from ‘Kapa Haka’ performances ( recommend people to watch clips of these, get a more solid look into our Māori culture ) and special family occasions. The most beautiful one for me was the one I received by my family from back home in New Zealand on camera for my 21st birthday over here in Australia. Every Haka tells a story, I know it may come off as weird to others but this is apart of my culture and identity. I take pride in it, honour it and down right love it.
Looks like they put way too much ugha bugha into the side show leading up to the actual sporting event and nothing into winning the games that they are there to participate in… 😱

The Haka + Ice hockey (5:42) = A MAD SCIENTIST WORST NIGHTMARE
When the aliens arrive I want this to be humanity's fight dance.
Welp learn Maori first
@Dexter still learn Maori to understand what's going on
Really? It's not a dance its' a war chant
@@Didida8BP - This one is
Lol its not a dance😂😂
I remember seeing a haka live and I've never felt more terrified yet so amazed
Brings back memories of my 2 trips for holidays in NZ had many chances to view my own live versions of the haka
Just to give context, the first one was against the French.
The French lost.
Māori juana The referee was so bad, he gave the final to the all blacks because the world cup was in NZ
@@clementosselaer4614 No, the AB's played really well that day
I remember this game. I was at work and everyone came in just to watch it on telly lol The game was being played like 3 blocks away from my job and you could literally hear the crowd roaring and horns blasting down the st. Obviously the game on TV is delayed so it was pointless watching the rest haha Twas a good night
Sky prime ab would’ve smoked them anyways
The French got robbed by the referee because the world cup was in NZ. And the French ousted NZ two times in the WC (1999, 2007) so there's nothing to brag about.
The one with the US bbal team....their reactions were priceless...looking on just confused as to what was happening thrn at the end Steph just burys a 3 like nothing happened....ice in his veins...not a Steph fan at all but that was just cold
Wonderful and beautiful compilation!
That Field Hockey battle was legit 🔥
A teacher at my school did the Haka at a student when he knowingly called him Australian.

I'll be honest, I didn't know indoor cricket was a sport...
Same
Ikr
Outdoor cricket is barely a sport
How is it barely a sport. It's the 2nd most popular in the world and more of a sport than most.
Depends on what you mean by most popular. In my opinion, being popular in one or two overpopulated countries in the world does not make it the second biggest sport in the World. I think one should account sports being the most widespread.
The only reason field hockey and cricket come high up on the list, is because they were dumped in India as the reject sports that they are by the Brits, whilst they went home and watched football instead.
3:41 - “Is this rugby match or basketball match? Wtf I’m doing here”
LMAO🤣
The perfect thing to watch during New Years to get you pumped and ready to do battle for the coming year.
Team USA were looking at them like wtf lol
Neverwinter Story yup. Am I the onely one who noticed the awesome 3 pointer after the haka??
Neverwinter Story team us will have best rugby team in the world one day!
It really show's New Zealand's respect for the Native Maori
then they kick there asses in haka moon
Lazy Fingers the USA has all the culture in the world. The issue is they consciously choose not to acknowledge it.
I like the basketball haka. The american player face is priceless
like "What the fuck are these weirdos doin'?"
“We just here to play ball”
they look shook af
Fiji's response at 7:54 was epic!!
The guy in the thumbnail DJ coached us in rugby for a month he was really good and nice he actually told us some very very useful rugby techniques we didn't know about
