Roronoa Zoro I think they just rounded up in civil war. It was 2016 and him and Bucky were both 98 so when Steve made that comment about being 100 to Bucky I’m sure he was just rounding up

Steve could be even older than that considering the line at the end of End Game.
Sam asks (I think it was Sam..) "How long will it take?"
Banner then remarks: "As long as he needs, but for us it will only be a few seconds."
Which means that Steve could have theoretically taken years to put all the stones back on his own. How do we know it didn't take him 20 years to figure out a way to get the Soul Stone back on Vormir?
So I think this is a minimum, but he could be a lot older.. In theory at least.

though as he is shown with peggy looking not any older than when he started his mission i would guess bringing back the stones didnt take that long because if we assume linear aging (albeit slower due to the SSS) we would at least see some aging if the time he spent bringing the stones back wasnt negligible.
though we could also take into consideration the possibility that at some point in time the SSS simply wore out and he pretty much started aging normally from that point on, which would in turn open back up the possibility of an indefinite amount of time he spent bringing back the stones
Those times can overlap, though. If he's going to spend the rest of his life with Peggy, he can go out periodically to return the Six (not Infinity) Stones. Priorities. First, go back an marry Peggy. Then, have a nice honeymoon (Hawaii? Visit the Pearl Harbor Memorial? Seems like a Cap thing to do.) Then settle down. Then take a brief period of time to return one of the stones (A day? A few hours? A week?). Then come back and spend more time with Peggy. Then return a stone, then spend time with Peggy. Lather, rinse, repeat. He had all the time from 1945 to present to return the stones.
Good catch. We just assume he was able to put everything back right then but in reality at least the state of three of the 6 stones would have presented a problem. Space, Reality and Soul not to mention finding out about Red Skull.
No he couldnt age until he returned mjolnir and he had thors powers so returning the stones shouldve been easy for him.

You can tell from the houses and cars you see when he is dancing with Peggy, they are NOT at all the cars and architecture of the 70s. Also, the radio or record player is playing the song It's Been a Long, Long Time, which came out in 1945. So, it's assumed it's about that time.

How would that make sense? It would be a little cruel to leave someone thinking you were dead another 20+ years when you absolutely have the power to show up the moment you went into the ice. But let's say he does care about the mess that might create and he waited a few days.

The super soldier serum would not slow down caps aging but it could help to nullify the effects that it would have on him. This could explain why he still has a lot of hair even though he is only 117. The ice would have done the same thing.

I mean, if we take an average of the low value for complete ice preservation, 117, and the high value for no ice preservation, 183, we get 150, so you weren't too far off.

@supercarlinbrothers you did miss one thing... with the time jumps he could have took "as long as it takes to get the job done". so it might have took him X years to plant Y stone, before he jumped back to peggy.. but we dont know this info. so you did the best you could with what info we do have.

In Homecoming, Happy mentioned tony was designing a prootype shield for cap, something we saw he had been working on since Iron Man 2 and had plenty of time to perfect. That’s probably the shield he gave to Falcon, most likely a version of it from an alternate timeline where Steve grew old.

I think the point has been missed that If he ages slower. In 2023 he looks like an average person the age of 35. But we know at that point he is 108. Which means his face and body age almost 3x slower then the average person which after going back in time and coming back to the Future. In order to look almost 90 he would have to be near 300 years old. Just saying.
Matthew The i e could have halted his aging. If it did, maybe he ages at, i dunno, 0.75 times the normal. In that case, he would be looking just about 85-ish, which i think is appropriate.
Well that doctor dude in the first Captain America movie is like "the serum increases everything" or something along those lines. I guess lifespan is no exception.
I assumed he went back to 1970 where they stole the Pym Particles and Tesseract from, like it was his last stop, and he decided to stay. That'd decrease his age you calculated by like... 25 years or so.

It should be noted that Steve LEARNED to jump out of a plane without a Parashute LATER in life... he didn't know how to do so until The Winder Soldier.
Also, he needed to AIM to ship down and did not have time to think of a better plan.
Also, it was NOT an Alternate Timeline. He was in the MAIN timeline, as he chose to be with Peggy when she was older, not the young version of her... probably the time when he was returning the stone or something.

Good choice of audiobook. The Martian is one of my favorite books.
I think the serum slowed that the aging process, but it was the ice that made the aging process stop. Its the same for Bucky and in agents of shield, Leapold Fitz. They were in the ice, which is how they didn't age even after a long time as well.
Any theory on how he returned all the stones when it was stated they had to be returned to the exact same moment in time or whatever that rule was? Pretty sure it would be extremely hard to put back the Aether/Reality Stone inside of Jane without anyone noticing AND however the Soul Stone works if you can't resurrect.
