I have both Echo Dot Mini and Google Nest Mini. Echo Dot Mini is the smarter voice assistant with an app featuring a better UI. From my experience, it's much easier to set up routines on Echo. The light at the bottom of the Echo Dot Mini is also a superior way to know your voice assistant is picking up your commands compared to the faint light on the Google Nest mini. And the Echo Dot Mini also has a richer sound.

Ola! Additional feature to share, you can use it as your personal paging system if you have a number of it at home.. just say "hey google, broadcast... " very useful for me. 😉

Hi! Can you connect apple music with the google mini 2nd gen in the ph? I can only link my youtube music and spotify
when you turn on the electric fan via google, does it choose how cool the fan is? or you need to choose manually?? or you leave it on number 2 always?
you actually need to leave the fan at a certain level so by the time you voice control it, it will just automatically work

You can control it using your Google home app. As long as your connected to internet, you can control them.
Hello poh, have you tried setting up google routines poh? I tried searching online, and I am not yet sure if Philippines is part na nang regions that support routines. Thanks po ang more power.

Hi Katrina, Top of mind i know you can use the google mini as the bluetooth speaker of your pc, for the mic function im not sure

Can you only put 1 account or it can accommodate at least 2?

sir how to connect with philippine internet/wifi connection.This is what i encountered when i try to configure it..this google home mini was manufactured for a different country, and may not be compatible with your wifi network.

You don't even need a subscription to Spotify - I think you can connect your free Spotify account to a Google Home, as well.
