    Good videos! I have been making my own snares for a long time and watch everything I can about making them. I have borrowed several other people's methods over the years. Example would be, I use the twinkie bait cage I learned from Scorpion Tubes channel and the loops I learned from Joy of Livings loops. Now I see things I will use from your snares too. I do minor mods but they are all pretty much alike. I like your ideas of mounting the molds too. I even have a mold made from clay then fired.Thanks for the info and lessons!

    I'd be interested in buying one or two from you.
    I live north of you on the Long Beach Peninsula.
    I think I read somewhere you live in Oregon?
    What part of Oregon?
    It's not something I'll do often so I don't really want to gear up to make one or two.
    And they don't sell a good quality crab snare in this area.
    Do your monofilament snares stand upright (vertical) when your snare (cage) is sitting on the bottom of the ocean or bays?
    All the snares they sell here locally at the retail stores, the mono snares just lay flat on the sand which seems inefficient to me.
    I know some people that catch crab with them...but I think a person might do better with verticle snares?

    • @BackFishing
      @BackFishing  Před rokem

      The loops stand upright and do not lay flat. The cages come in two styles with poured weight into the cage and none weighted. I didn't think to sell them but I might be interested. Please email me at Imbackfishing@gmail.com to make arrangements.
