In our recent trip to Istanbul, we decided to spend our time walking and sailing through this vitally sensual city. Very magically this incredible folk song from Nepal, accompanied us all throughout our time.

It has been a little more than a year that world lost a beautiful folk artist like Late Jayananda Lama. this is our humble tribute to sir and his contributions to folk music of the world.
Nepali folk music is diverse, uniquely local and often unknown to the world due to it's remotest of locations where such incredible folk forms are brewed.
Music dissolves borders. Music transcends cities, towns, power and politics. Music is always of the common people of earth. Like love. Like dance. Like the spirit.

Ten days ago I was listening to this song Kalkatte kaiyo by another singer, I think name was Bahadur, something, an amazing artist, I loved it so much, and then I started thinking if this song was in our Arko's voice it wud give a totally different experience, I wished Arko will sing this song some day, wishing is all I cud do,
And I see now notification that Kalkatte kainyon by Arko and I stopped for a while and thought how it happened,
May be u got to know what I wished or I got to know what you were working on, how, I don't know, it's beautiful, how we all are connected through some invisible wires, don't know.
