This is a very humble attempt to record an old Newari song from the collections of Late Bhrigu Ram Shrestha. The Newari language (Nepal Bhasa) and pronunciation along with it's associated linguistic structure and multiple scripts is completely different from Nepali. I am very poor in my pronunciation and hence request your kindness and apologies.
Kathmandu has given me a lot with it's rich cultural uniqueness and the variety of sounds one can hear in every nook and corner.
I love music beyond any cultural barriers. I am grateful to my dear brother Koustav for guiding me musically in all my musical attempts.
I dedicate this song to my Newar friends all over the world and every one who love music outside cultural judgements.
