As huge fan of Hey from '92 and citizen of their origin city, I have some errata: One of them, Dreams, Eksperyment and Teksański are from the first album called Fire released in 1993. One of them was released as a promo in the end of 1992. This album contains huge hit - Moja i Twoja Nadzieja which gives Hey nationwide recognition. In 1994 album Ho! has been released. From this album are Ja Sowa and mentioned by you Misie. In the same year they release Live! live album recorded during concert in Spodek Katowice (koncert was broadcasted live in TVP). Piotr Banach left the band in 1999 after tour for the fifth longplay (called simply Hey), not in '94 as you said. BTW Hey album was the first with only Polish lirycs. First three albums has many English songs because they hoped to have international career (Teksanski video is filmed in Paris because they won prize on Le Printemps De Bourges festival). For the same, and label pressure, the third album ? ha two versions - Polish and English (international).
And Dreams are not the first about sexual harrasment, but rather first about sexual harrasment of children in families (by family members)

They were huge when I was young but I never realized they wrote in English too. I only heard their Polish songs. BTW my favorite of them is "4 pory".

„Teksanski” riff is super close to „Permanent Vacation” by Aerosmith
"Dreams" wasn't first polish song dealing with this topic. There is another example - "Co się stało z Magdą K" written and recorded by band Perfekt in late 1970s, but only released in 1991 due to controversial topic. It is trully heartbreaking. I tells the story of titular Magda, who was a girl assaulted by group of men and then ostracized by her community, because she decided to testify against them. In 2005 band Strachy na Lachy recorded cover, which now is widely known.

prawie zapomniałem o Hey, a miałem dwie kasety, które wałkowałem na okrągło w walkmanie. mniej więcej w tym czasie wkręciłem się w black metal czy też gothic rock jak Lacrimosa i polskie wynalazki przestały mnie kompletnie interesować
I teraz znów możesz docenić te wspaniałe polskie piosenki? Dla mnie, który nigdy wcześniej ich nie słyszałem, są one bardzo nowe i odświeżające.
@@AlmostDon no powiedzmy, że polska muzyka lat '90 jako wypowiedź artystyczna brzmiała bardziej autentycznie niż obecnie gdy w grę bardziej wchodzi komercyjna kalkulacja i dopasowywanie się do trendów światowych. dla mnie największym odkryciem dzięki youtube jest polski jazz, o którym wprawdzie wiedziałem, że jest na europejskim poziomie, ale kojarzył mi się bardziej z oprawą muzyczną do filmów (zwłaszcza Krzysztof Komeda) niż z albumami do słuchania. nie wiedziałem kto to jest np Zbigniew Seifert, bo to była muzyka niszowa.
Za gowniaza Hey nie był nawet w mojej kolekcji ponad 200 kaset. Czy był w moim życiu?! Bardziej niż myślałem co okazało się na koncercie pożegnalny zespołu w Edinburgh. Może to była tesknta za dzieciństwem, może za Polską. Nie wiem. Dorosły facet jak ja i wiele innych os roniło łzy po policzkach. Cudowny, wzruszający, piękny jedyny koncert Hey na którym byłem. Pozdrawiam
@@mikedrabik6072 myślę, że w dobie szybkiego internetu i powszechnej dostępności za darmo wszelkiej muzyki sentyment związany z konkretnymi utworami jest znacznie słabszy niż kiedyś. wyobrażam sobie, że słuchanie piosenek Piotra Szczepanika na jakimś prymitywnym radiu tranzystorowym na wczasach pod koniec lat 60-tych miało urok nieporównywalny z niczym czego doświadczyło pokolenie, którego dzieciństwo przypadło na lata 80 czy 90-te.

Pewnie tego nie wiesz - Kaśka na koncertach po prostu stoi po środku jak czopek (bez urazy) i śpiewa i za to zawsze była kochana
