  • A nice early morning flight to Sacramento CA from Long Beach. This video shows some of the sights, sounds, and snacks from seat 5A in the "Even More Space" portion of the aircraft. While this aircraft is not configured with "Mint", the extra legroom was indeed nice and can be worth the upgrade on flights that are longer than two hours. Hope you enjoy! Flight details are as follows:
    Airline: JetBlue
    Aircraft: Airbus A320 (reg N658JB)
    Route: LGB - SMF
    Flight#: 266
    Seat: 5A
    Date: 10/21/18

      Andres Reyes This was my first time flying out of there and couldn’t agree more. Also very spacious inside the terminal too.

    JetBlue is always a lovely airline that fits your needs. The livery’s are amazing let me say, the staff are so professional, hardly any delays, the planes are gorgeous, and the airports they operate out of are amazing for convenience. LGB is always an amazing airport in my opinion, as I fly out of LGB a lot. Amazing video!

    I really enjoy flying out of LGB and always enjoy these quick flights, looks like it was a great day to fly.

      Thanks Ed! LGB was super easy to navigate around in. For an early morning flight, Jet Blue was pumping passengers through there in the masses. Nice to see a smaller airport thriving like that.

    Amazing video mate! A320s are one of my favourite aircrafts :)

      Thanks! The A320 is definitely a true workhorse for many airlines. I wouldn't call the 320 family my favorite, but I appreciate what the aircraft offers.

    That's one of their old birds. All of the flights I've been on with then all of the plane were like 1-2 years old. I have never been on their older planes for some reason but I want to.

    • @LoveJT8D
      @LoveJT8D  Před 5 lety

      That's cool to know. The aircraft didn't come across as really aged, but little details like the IFE in the seatbacks and such, definitely tell you it's an older cabin.

    • @blewyd
      @blewyd Před 5 lety +1

      @@LoveJT8D they dont look aged at all! That's crazy too because they only have new birds unlike some other airlines that still fly uncomfortable seats 25 y/o jets.

    SWEET video thanks for sharing. Flying scares the crap out of me after a couple mishaps. Up for Yankee Air Force bomber.

      thomasstrongtree1 Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the vid! Was it the bomber where you had the mishaps? I grew up a nervous flyer most of my life. Still not fully at ease but have come a long way.

    • @Mosely2007
      @Mosely2007 Před 5 lety +1

      LoveJT8D no, I had a few experiences on jets. 1 with fire in cockpit, one with water coming out of vents and one where the runway was left behind . It stopped just before the Ocean in Jamaica. Not a fan of flight. The bomber isn't high up . And having props seems safer. Brother in law is jet engine design at Pratt. He has stories about busted air frames. I like 2 wheels and bikes best. I ride 12000 miles or more each year I like watching more than flying
      Once they close the door I get nervous

    • @LoveJT8D
      @LoveJT8D  Před 5 lety

      @@Mosely2007 That would be enough to make me super nervous too. My experience as a kid was departing on US Air at the time on a Fokker 100. We went into a left hand bank after and can't remember if we cut the engines for noise restrictions, but it felt like we were slipping/sinking sideways. My parents said I looked a little pale after that. Ever since, I would get sweaty palms in turbulence and any time the pilots would reduce thrust. I've come a long way since then but not enough to make flying a career.

      not bad considering jetBlue faces heavy competition on this route against Southwest which has gone from 0 flights 2 years ago out of LGB-SMF to 4x daily while jetBlue has maintained its 2x daily to SMF@@LoveJT8D
