He was literally angrier with both Krenic, Mr. Lack of Faith, and the Rebels than he was meeting Obi Wan again, almost as if this isn't the first time. vader treated obi wan like an old sack of potatoes in the original movie, because that's what he was to him. that's what vader's and obi wan's backstory originally was; vader was a student of obi wan who turned evil. he was not a good friend, that was anakin, a completely different character. obi wan was just a disappointed master of vader, and vader probably saw him as a useless relic, without any anger really at all. it was only after george decided to make vader and anakin the same person did that original scene start to make less sense; that was supposedly obi wan's "good friend", and vader's old master. there was bound to be some bad blood there, and there just wasn't. the prequels made it even less coherent given the drama of obi wan and anakin's last fight.

IV George hasn't really thought much about dueling and only when it hit success, he changed the style in Ep. V, especially if you look at Vader's change of style. We have to remember that in those years it was thought that was going to be the only movie. Personally I like how the fighting has progressed. @@OptimiseYOU I had no intention whatsoever in making myself sound special my guy. I was simply stating why I personally feel like the content of this channel is of great help to me. Everyone's different, maybe I'm lazier than others, who knows? You clearly don't share the same opinion as me, and that's totally fine. Just don't change the meaning of what I was trying to say. Jeez, can a viewer not simply thank an uploader for a video anymore?

Vader saying Obi Wan should had killed him when he had the chance might be him saying Kenobi could had defeated him back on Mustafar at first glance but in actuality it is Vader saying without mentioning it that he would rather have died than wearing his suit and mask which he needs to stay alive as he hates his new life imprisoned in his suit.

You’re reading wayyyy too much into it lol. The line means exactly what he said.. You should of killed me when you had the chance. Because now it’s payback time!

@@SuperMillwall actually he's right. Vader HATES the prison of a suit he's in and would have rather been killed then be trapped like this.

Scenes like this show how evil and corrupted Anakin has become. In Episode 3 he was just starting to fall and become corrupted by the dark side. His power was growing, but he was still a kid. Then he lost his love, he lost his body, and he lost his will to care about anything. As the years went on he became more and more corrupted by the dark side and the power that comes with it, and this shows how far he's fallen. It's incredible to see a prime Vader. In the original trilogy he was getting older, and even though he was only in his 40s, his body was badly damaged, so that's pretty old for him. But we never got to see his true power in those films. Rogue One was the first time we got to see a truly powerful Vader, and even that's in his early 40s. This is Vader in his prime 30s and he's terrifying.

Was I the only one shocked that Vader showed up on the battlefield so soon, like I thought he’d be on the sidelines until the final or something.
