    Can these wired to run the amber as DRL instead?

    Installed as per instructions one side works one side doesn’t wiring is connected as the video instructs and to the add a fuse all connections are fine why would only one side work?

    Awesome! They look fantastic. Do you have info/instructions for using the existing wiring?

      I made my own OEM plug by making a loop that wires back to itself with a fuse in the middle, then pining it to the same type of plug as the one under the foot well(not sure what kind as I already had it lying around). The point is to just complete the circuit and have a fuse for safety. Worked for me though you will still have to splice the turn signal wire as that is not part of the built in loom.

      We don’t have instructions for using the OEM wiring because the kit comes equipped with its own proprietary harness. But our buddy Cody has something that might help you out!

    Is there a way to fix the “Off timing” flashers? Turn signal and bezel aren’t flashing at the same rate.

      Yes, the DRL lighting is LED while the factory turn signal bulb is halogen. Replacing the factory turn signal bulb with a aftermarket LED bulb should resolve this issue! 🤘🏻🤘🏻

    When are they gonna be available in the site with the sport grill?

    What if you need to take off the bumper again could the lights be disconnected without having to disconnect the yellow wire

    • @ImportImageRacing
      @ImportImageRacing  Před 21 hodinou

      This is a really great question! The Bezel lighting has been updated to include total plug-n-play connectors. This allows you to simply press and release a clip to separate the wiring for future service.

    Question, I’m installing the bezels, for the add a fuse, do you have to have two 10 amp fuses in both slots? And do both have to be in for the led light to function?

    • @ImportImageRacing
      @ImportImageRacing  Před 2 měsíci +1

      That is correct. You need the fuse from the original circuit, then an additional 10amp fuse for the bezel lighting.

    How feasible would it be to cut the “fake grille” in the bezel and replace it with mesh…?

      if you have a base you cant you'll have to buy all the hardware and it will cost more than the kit by far.

    I tried to install these today on my GT model and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do the turn signal thing. I think maybe the headlights are different?

    • @ImportImageRacing
      @ImportImageRacing  Před 28 dny

      I do believe "GT" models are equipped with different headlight wiring. Email Support@importimageracing.com for the best wiring solution!

    Is this any different for a limited? How would I get the turn signal?

    • @sabianbarboza1155
      @sabianbarboza1155 Před 8 měsíci +1

      I was going to try splicing it to a yellow wire that is visible on the limited light wire loom which I assume is the turn signal wire. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance as my set didn't fit correctly even after I received some extra hardware provided by Noble and ended up having to return them. I will probably just get the OEM.

    For the add a fuse did you have two in there or just one

    • @ImportImageRacing
      @ImportImageRacing  Před 4 měsíci

      To clarify, are you referring to two fusses in one add-a-fuse?

  • @FecesPhantom
    @FecesPhantom Před 3 měsíci

    is there a reason to not simply use the OEM plugs then go under the dash and use a jumper to connect the for light switch wiring to bypass using a switch and just have everything work as is without using any new fuses?

    • @ImportImageRacing
      @ImportImageRacing  Před 3 měsíci

      That’s a perfectly fine way to do the installation as well.

    • @SuzukiKid400
      @SuzukiKid400 Před 2 měsíci

      Make sure you install a fuse on that jumper. It would be nice if you could buy that jumper separately, but unfortunately Subaru parts told me they don’t sell it separately.

    Why don't the turn signal lights sync? That would drive me nuts.

    • @BuckleUpGarage_
      @BuckleUpGarage_ Před 7 měsíci +8

      The factory turn signal bulb is a halogen bulb while the new DRL lights are LED. This means every time the factory bulb is activated it takes several milliseconds longer to warm the filament to a visible glow compared to the instantaneous shine of the LED light. Compounded with multiple on and off cycles the lights become “out of sync”. Converting your factory turn signal bulb to a aftermarket LED bulb will solve this issue! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
