- I have been wanting to grab some new fog bezels for my STI for a while now and I have been eyeing the 2018+ JDM Sequential fog bezels for a good minute. I finally pulled the trigger and picked some up! These look so much better than the stock ones that come with the car and they also feature a daytime running light as well as a sequential turn signal. I couldn't be happier with how they look on the front bumper and love the aggressive look they add. In this video I go through the whole install process of these bezels and exactly how to wire up the whole thing. I know it can be a bit confusing figuring out where each connector goes on the car so I did my best to show each and every plug on the harness. If you have A limited WRX or STI with the LED Headlights then they would install the way I did it in this video.

Just one critique: Dielectric grease is a silicone based insulator. You don't put it on the mating surfaces or pins of electrical connections. You can put it around it and on the rubber boots.

Hello. Excellent video, I only have a question ... I bought mine and recently installed them in a workshop, I took advantage of them while installed other things to the car. The point is, the fogs light will not turn on as long as you don't have the main lights on? I thought these fogs light would turn on like the 'day light'(DRL) of the front headlights(C-light).
Where did you get the plug and play kit?
What are the cables you connected to the directionals called and where did you buy them?

If I donât have turn signal on my headlight I can just ignore that extra plug and play adapter right ?
Random question but can that gel that came with the kit can be used for my battery terminals mine are starting to have corrosion??
Whenever I turn my turn signal on, the opposite side would start blinking any idea how to fix that?
If you dont get the wiring harness kit (the extra one) will it just run drl indefinitely?

I believe they should work, on the website it says 2018+ wrx/sti. Just might need to buy the hyper flash module with them and a different PnP harness that they sell as an option.
Help...My fuse does not fit in that location in the fuse box. It only fits in the 30AMP lowbean fuse. So my fog DRLs do not come on. Is there someting im missing?
You need to cut one of the tabs off the fuse tap. Annoying that they don't tell you that but it will fit after that âșïž

if i have a 2015 wrx without the headlight indicators but facelift bumper, will this still work?

It already came like that with one of them snipped off. I know sometimes they do it for you and sometimes not, but you do need to cut one off for it to fit in that location for power.

Same. It looks like he took one prong (right side) of the connector off. Mine sure as hell doesnât fitâŠ.
Are they supposed to stay on at all times? I turn off my headlights and they stay on. I want them to turn off with the headlights
They are daytime running lights so they do stay on even with the headlights off

You are welcome :) Also since these are connected to the fuse box for power these turn on whenever the car is is on. Iâm sure you could switch where you get the power for these instead of the fuse box, possible try to run it off the headlight harness and you might be able to make it turn off with the headlights

Did the led come pre installed already into the bezel when you purchased it?

â@@legionn9338 manufacturer put in the right led strip into the left bezel and vice versa. just gotta flip those around lolâ

Just take a part the harnesses where the 2 gray conections are cut both gray connections you will end up with just one yellow wire tap that yellow wire to the yellow wire on the turn signal.. leave the brown one alone. And done deal.
I canât get the damn bezel to snap into place
On the bezel, the side closest to the center of the bumper is a little lip you have to make sure you get in the right spot onto the bumper otherwise It will fight you. Itâs a longer tab unlike all the smaller tabs on the bezel that you have to snap in. It wouldnât snap in for me till I had those perfectly lined up. Hope this makes sense and helps you out.
