It may be the world's first 3d printed wine decanting machine. Steel decanting machines often cost several thousand euros. That's why I wanted to make a thinking decanter from 3D printed parts that is very cheap to build. Everyone who owns a 3D printer and likes to drink wine should own such a machine. The machine is not only beautiful to look at but also fulfills a practical use.
A decanter machine is used for various purposes:
1. Removing sediment: especially with older red wines, sediment builds up at the bottom of the bottle over time. Decanting involves carefully decanting the wine so that the sediment stays in the bottle and the clear wine goes into the decanter.
2. Aerate the wine: The process of decanting brings the wine into contact with oxygen. This allows the wine to open up and develop its aroma and flavor. Especially with young red wines, this can improve the fruitiness and complexity of the wine.
3. Presentation: a stylish decanter is also a beautiful piece of table decoration and a way to serve wine elegantly, especially on special occasions or festive meals.
Overall, using a decanter enhances the enjoyment of red wine and makes drinking wine an even more enjoyable experience.

Honestly quite surprised your videos don't get alot more attention.. i love your projects, sewing machine and braiding machine were super cool. I think the power loom has to be my favorite so far. Love the small scale manufacturing vibe of the channel.
Thank you for the nice comment. I think it has to do with the fact that I do not speak in my videos. Thus, the average playback time is relatively low and not so often suggested. But I just keep going as long as it brings me joy.
