in reality, Low paid workers are the real engineers who transfer the paper work into a reality. should pay them respect.
Real load bearing beams enforcement design so far it would be in simplified form in India subcontinent.

I understand there is zero safety here; not the fault of the workers but their boss. That being said I would love to work with those guys here in the US. They seem like they would be the type to not complain and not act like primodonnas. I was actually impressed with the amount that they did with the little amount of support, boots, tools etc. that they had. Good job fellas.

@22:47 - Be Careful!!! That might be the most dangerous part (If I had to pick just one that is)... But none the less awesome work and awesome effort! I wish you guys were given safety training and equipment. A lot of commentors obviously don't realize what conditions are like in other parts of the world. Worker's rights are very limited. I'm sure they'd have hard hats and safety boots if they had the choice (although if I had to walk on those planks without a harness I might rather be wearing footwear that would prevent slipping).
If they are still forming this way (a lot of knowledge and work ethic is required to put it together, definitely not trying to minimize that), there is a lot of potential to improve productivity and safety by using more modern formwork systems. Affording that formwork is another issue altogether. Even many contractors in developed countries still use 50+ year old formwork systems. They don't reinvest their profits, are slow, and therefore cannot (or just won't) compensate their skilled workers fairly.

For those who comment on safety this is how most of the world's construction workers operate using common sense for their own safety and others without the burden of government restrictions and regulations that has become an industry within an industry for what in reality is a small section of the worlds construction workers

How can work get done with any efficiency in that kind of a mess? Oh, It takes 3 guys 3 minutes to rip a single board on the antique table saw. I see now. never mind. Everything probably gets piled up and burned at the end anyways I suppose. I should consider myself very fortunate to have worked proper construction.

For the peoplemaking fun of the workers in the video, I am a professional carpenter and builder from Toronto and I moved to a 3rd world country to change careers and I too made fun of people like this before I moved here but this is what you need to know. these people don't have work daily (lets say they end up working on about 2 houses a year about a total of 40 days) so they don't get the privilege to learn and become faster, they call themselves construction workers but the truth is they are just labourers, now hopefully the guy who is the foreman or the owner knows construction themselves to manage the team. a construction worker in a 3rd world country is the bottom of the career list.
