Sponsored videos aren’t nearly as bad when the content creator is 100% bluntly honest about both the good and bad of the thing that they’re discussing, I’ve seen some CZcamsrs do it before, but unfortunately this was paid well enough for it to be nothing but positive reception and not a single negative mentioned, unfortunate.

Smart people will form their own opinion. Nixxiom did drop at the start of the video that they sponsored him, so you already know the review is going to be biased towards ''game's good''.

seriously. team liquid for example is still having a blast and the raids are great. I would've missed this was even a thing if i didnt randomly see towelie streaming it on launch and giving it a try myself. glad i did.

As someone who hates mobile games I am surprised how good this is. I am playing it on PC but it's very impressive overall and as someone who is very disappointed with blizzard right now this has released at the perfect time for me. I am honestly having more fun with the dungeons and raids than WoW ones but this is free. Yeh it has some issues and is basically budget WoW but I actually prefer it for the simple fact that it's free, no commitments, jump in and out whenever I want :D

I tried it and the only problem I've had with it is the moment isn't as smooth as I'd like, It feels like it would play better on a controller than MnK.

I have played for the last two days and levelled to the current max. And while there is some fun to be had in the dungeons it is utterly GENERIC.
And I am so surprised that they haven't been slapped with a copyright infringement by Blizzard because there don't just wear their influence on their sleeve... they straight up rip off certain things. Including an almost carbon copy of Varian Wrynn's Legion sacrifice cut scene(different scenario but the beats hit almost perfectly....).
Not too mention the class abilities are a carbon copy from WoW ..... Watch the 'Justice Paladin' Gameplay.
Another con is how your character moves and interacts with the world, it's all very floaty..... Your lucky to get a team of actual players in a dungeon.
I 100% agree. The whole thing feels like it was designed by AI with prompts from other MMOs but polished with poor AI sounding voiceacting, bad grammar (or perhaps at least bad English localization) and more. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed was the environments seemed nice (the characters were fine but the cow tribe guys were utterly (lol) scary looking), as well as the telegraphs for mechanics. Other than that? Not worth it and there are several better FTP mmorpgs out there

I tried it as soon as it was out and I uninstalled it after a few hours. It's just not good. There are too many things that lack polish. It's really low quality overall. There is not point in playing this game when you can play World of Warcraft instead.
@@bonsai8493 and actually super fun but I only really started to fully enjoy it after 10 hours or so. I then started to get really into it. The dungeons and raids are very fun
@@bonsai8493 free???? BDO, Neverwinter, STO, Runescape, Guild Wars 2 and more are all better. Hell even the free trial of FFXIV that doesnt include everything or the WoW up to level 20 trial feels better than the 4-5 ish hours I wasted on this game xD

I was a kid when it came out, it ran at like 8fps on my windows vista toaster with lots of stuttering and up to 10s-long freezes, sadly despite actually being interested in experiencing it, I never was able to properly give it a chance before it shut down. In retrospective, it looked so ahead of its time.

I really dont get the insane hate for thid game. Is it a masterpiece thatll compete with WoW or XIV? No but its some casual fun and currently isnt predatory. It has a nice art style and basic combat with puzzles. Enjoy it for what it is not what you want it to be.
It feels the hate come not from the game itself. I lost interest complaining about things and just start enjoying it. And it is free. It is very good for starter like me. Before I go in games like WoW.

0:28 I never take the numbers of a mobile mmo seriously. It doesn't matter if matter if its got 2mil players if its a dog game because they made it to work on a phone. To the owner of a pc moblie gamers are more of a hindrance that caps out the games quality. Look at hokai starrail you cant even jump in that game because it was made for phones first..
I think design a game for high end play on pc first and let people do dailies or something casual on there phone and maybe we can bridge the gap where pc players dont look at moblie players like there going to put restrictions on the game. I would argue this is also why ff14 pvp sucks d because they make it for console first and pc players have to play in a restricted way so console players can think it fair. No one wants this and if you just make it for pc first and let no pc ways to jack in be for casual play then pc players would probably look higher upon the game. That being said Taris land seems to be dabbling in this because I herd many phone users saying high end dungeons were more for pc and phone stuff is more the ez content.
My point mainly you cant really count non pc players as a pc player because they may not even have other options. Like this sure may be the best mobile mmo while also being a terrible pc mmo. As a pc players what is valuable to know for me is how much the games quality is sacrificed to fit in non pc players.

He clearly states he was contacted by the company to make this video (which he is required to do) and it's also clear he's just stating his opinions based on a first impression. It's not like I'm gonna play this game but this is just Nixxiom covering an MMO that many people in his audience are probably curious about and he's getting paid while doing it. What's the problem? No they closed the official WoW servers but the Chinese are running an almost identical version of WoW on their own servers , this game is completely separate from that .

Though to call this a fair review is not true. He was very tame and controlled and didn't talk about anything negative. Things he'd call negatives in WoW he didn't call negatives in this game.

Im seeing a lot of people who clearly haven't played the game talking in the comments like they have real insight or opinion, I have over a hundred hours already the game is fantastic, Its more casual than WoW in terms of time commitment and in content available because yeah its literally been out for a week, the first raid is still unlocking. You should never expect something to be equal to or greater than wow on launch it will never happen. Its the Freest Free to play game Ive ever played fr. The *real* cons of the game are the absolutely inexcusably laughable localization and stilted voice acting because of it, the UI still having echoes of Mobile on PC, and the No Visual Gear Progression does suck but like, that doesnt make the Raids and dungeons less fun and I genuinely think they're way better than a lot of other MMOs actual Encounter Designs in raw Fun Value, Lightning Druid and Synthesis Doctor are way more fun than any Dungeon or Raid bosses Ive done in about any other game. Stay Mad Sinophobes.
