I just purchased the Toshiba 65" C350 4K TV to replace the 55" Insignia where the backlights went out. When I look for a TV the first requirement is "is it a Fire TV". I wanted to try something different than the Insignia and chose this Toshiba. It is a very very nice television and I am very pleased with it. I didn't find the extended remote IR gizmo in the box but don't really need it anyway. Highly recommend this TV. Thanks for the video you made.

i am looking to upgrade from my regular 43 inch 1080p tv to a 43 inch curve tv with 4k uhd at 60 hz that supports hdr 10 because my xbox one x only supports 4k uhd at 60 hz with hdr 10!! i have bought it for $300 at best buy years before covid hit and its time for a major upgrade especially for my xbox games!!
Toshiba is the best television manufacturer on the planet. Crisp, clean, vibrant picture with amazing color. I have multiple tv brands in my house but my main tv has always been a Toshiba for 35 years.
Toshiba TV is now acquired by Hisense and this TV is just a Hisense product. But yes Toshiba engineer did put work on it.

Do you know much about the Toshiba Fire 50 Inch 50QF5D53DB Smart 4K UHD HDR QLED TV and whether it is good for gaming and watching movies?
You neglected to cover its used as a desk top computer monitor. My thoughts are to run it using two side by side 1920x1200 windows (I prefer the 16:10 aspect ratio) and ignore the top portion of the display. It would consume less desktop real-estate than my current dual 24 inch monitors. Of course one could always watch videos full screen from across the room as well :-) .... P.S. Alexei and her sister Cortana can go where the sun never shines.
How would it work as a monitor for my Mac???

Hi which u think si better 55m Toshiba or a7k Hisense
This is an advert for Toshiba. I’d say that being within Europe we have the sets made by Vestel in Turkey. They make good sets, like the Hitachi TVs, however, the Toshiba sets are very poor build quality. A remote with a loose back, remember it’s your Fire TV remote, then I’ve seen horrible back light bleed on Qled versions. Maybe the US versions are OK.

If i got free tv and sponsorship. This TV will be blowing my mind too . But deep inside no one buy Toshiba anymore in 2022 . Hisense is better then Toshiba for local dimming.
Toshiba is from Japan not China
HiSense purchased the Toshiba license back in 2017 and is the manufacturer of these Toshiba Fire TV C350 and M550.

Aren’t tv’s from Toshiba, JVC, Phillips and a couple of other brands produced by the same company/factory in like Turkey?
Lots of different consumer electronics companies use the same handful of factories
@@rousseau327 yeah but those couple of companies specifically stopped from doing everything in house to basically selling the whole lot to a foreign company abd the only thing still relating it to the original company is a logo… the quality of those brands has gone downhill massively.
Also, toshiba specifically, read a lot of reviews from people complaining abt weird smells coming off the tvs etc.
Samsung, sony and lg still do most of their own stuff, the quality of the oroducts are still very high.
@@bynahelemaal That has nothing to do with whether a company does things in house versus with a contract manufacturer. Obviously, it's easier to control requirements when you're more vertically integrated, but the contract manufacturer still has to make their products under the specifications of the design company. If quality has dropped because companies like Toshiba started using contract manufacturers, it's because Toshiba's own product design and manufacturing requirements have relaxed to allow for these quality issues.
Put into context, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google all use contract manufacturers for a lot of the products they make. I suspect even though Samsung has mass production capabilities, they don't make all their products 100% in house either. It's just how the industry works.
@@rousseau327 that’s not what I’m talking abt, ofc these companies use other factories/companies for certain things in their production, however most of it is still done by or in collab with and the product is still top quality!
It’s still a ferrari, even if the wood panels are cut and treated in another country!
With these other companies like toshiba, jvc, phillips etc. the a/v dept seems to be fully cut out, bc they no longer want to spend money on that dept.
the sticker on top saying JVC is like if Ferrari were to have the Toyota factory in Japan build the entire car and then slap a horse on it and call it a Ferrari!
These companies used to be known as big names in the tv world, nowadays it’s LG, Samsung, Sony and more recently TCL!
Ask any 90’s kid and their parents had a JVC stereo or Sharp tv or a Phillips vcr
These days it’s only their name that’s being used, but a Chinese company making the tv’s in Turkey.

What is the difference between this and c350
The C350 doesn't support Full Array Local Dimming with zones and only has a single backlight and also doesnt support HDR10+ format.
