How playable is this game if you dont read japenese?? Would love to give a try but if its hard to play due to language barrier i might skip
Pretty playable, there's a guide you can follow that translates all the menus to English if you can't read Japanese (Linked below), just takes a bit of memorizing and its playable. The menus are pretty simplistic.

Cool ill give it a go after finishing txr3, playing this on my xbox @4k, great to discover ps2 racing games i never played, genki does something that is lost in current racing games cant really explain how
@@KaidoSamurai i have been playing now for a couple of hours and i got a few more questions of you dont mind answering, any ways for fast money? Can i get invites to races on the bbs? Do i need to battle opponents multiple times, is saw colors change behind their names, and is there a time limit?
@@moes95 For fast money just do the races as you get a lot of it eventually. In this game you don't really need to look at the BBS as invites don't pop up in there like the other games. Just beat the racers, turn their squares next to their name green by beating them twice and you will progress. Not too sure what you are referring too with the time limit. Just keep in mind you have to beat every racer at least twice to have the last boss, unknown pop up
a much better way than this is to use the translate option built into google on you'r cellphone and point it at the screen. works for BBS shit too@@KaidoSamurai
8:43 compact giant is from txrd2/kaido racer series is a normal rival but in rbc1 he is a wanderer

A mix of both, found some guides not completely correct online or there were other ways to get the same rival to appear.
