Eleven winners were chosen from across the country and flown to San Diego Comic-Con to experience the rush of the convention floor, interact with fans and comic creators, receive costume tips from industry professionals and have their dreams come true. Its cool when you know the actors had entire costume teams and makeup crew helping them get ready but the cosplayers did it all themselves and still managed to be spot on

Coplayers are important in studios such as Lions Gate in churning out direct to rental movies, Bollywood movies, and Sci fi shows that look more expensive to make than they are. Let's say you need 100 "zombies" for a shot. It's just cheaper and less time consuming to hire 100 cosplayers.

The guy that played El Diablo looked exactly like him! They were all amazing!
This is Gerald AKA El Diablo, and thanks for all the kind remarks! This was my first cosplay (and definitely not my last), and it was really inspiring being around my cosplay squad, most of whom have been cosplaying for years. This really was a life-changing experience that I will never forget.

If the actual Suicide Squad actors had showed up in costume, you wouldn't have been able to tell the two groups apart. Some of the best cosplay I've ever seen, if not THE best.

Normal people gave the movie a 99%. Crititcs(Most of whom are failed actors btw) gave it a 29%. Screw You RT!
Obviously critics will be more critical, they're not saying its bad, but there was a lot of missteps.

I really love the hype for this movie back then. Besides the movie, the casting and the love of fans warms my heart. I love that these fans got to meet the cast. I am so happy for them that I really wish I had an experience like this

dead shot and joker look so much like the characters in the movie they look AMAZING!
we didnt get to see everyones entry, but everyone worked hard for their cosplay especially the ones that won, truly amazing. i thought the killer crocs cosplay was the easiest to do, but i was so wrong. he needed another person to help him get in his costume, and he wore contacts and his stuffy outfit all day. his cosplay is my probably fav out of them because of that. i remember in the polls, katana votes were so close to one another, it was anyones game, but congrats to her and everyone that won!
Thanks! Over the 2 days spend in the group I wore that costume for over 20 hours. It was a rough, sweaty 2 days but soooo amazing and worth it

Some of these cosplays are great while others are average at best. I never participate or pay attention to these cosplay contests, because they're just a popularity contest. The people with the largest following will win, regardless whether they're truly the best or not. Don't come at me and saying I'm hating either, because it's the truth.
